My updated top 5 in no order:

    meteor blitz
    blood n guns
    Abstract war 2.0
    critical wave
    annihilation undead

Blood n guns has been dominating my life lately. Can't get enough of it. Also still don't see belowscape on the list. It was updated and dual sticks is now an option for controls.

I think belowscape was one of the first dual stick shooters... maybe before iDracula...

    my list in order is

    Geometry Wars Touch (ipad)
    Meteor Blitz (iphone)
    iDracula (iphone)

after that they are all gray area to me...

Space Miner has a dual stick option that improves gamplay IMO.
    And you forgot aftermath.

I sadly haven't had a chance to play Space Miner lately so I was not aware. As for Aftermath, I have debated about it being on the list because the controls are not the standard dual stick and also the 'shooter' aspect of the game.

Solomon's Keep, Dawn of The Dead, and the A4Es. Max Adventure's is also supposed to have a story.
