Are you seriously excited about this? LT was absolutely fantastic a few years ago, but now? He only had half decent production a year ago since Norv Turner ran him constantly. His YPC were awful. I just think we is way past his prime.
They don't even run AP enough anyway, why do they need an old and slow back that will take carries from Adrian Peterson?
LT is supposed to meet with the Jets tomorrow and they are prepared to offer him some big bucks or at least more than the Vikes.
I highly doubt that because why would the Jets drop Thomas Jones, who had a better year than LT and is cheaper, and then pay more to LT? Also, AP is a first and second down back. We didn't give him the ball often on 3rd down and short, if you recall, we gave it to Chester Taylor. Who is now with the Bears. LT will be a third down back, and he'll be perfect for passes to the flat and screens since he catches better than AP.
