There are six weapons to use which a couple of you will have to unlock. We have an upgrade system with 80 upgrades. There are roughly 25 achievements. There are also game center and open feint leaderboards for iOS and android respectively for high scores to compete with friends. Thanks everybody we are excited about M.U.S.E. and can't wait to get it out and see what you guys think.
No there will be a purchase price (TBA). @Creamer2010: M.U.S.E. will be available first on iOS (4th gen +) and shortly after that on android tablets.
thank the lord! Hope it will be a fair one, looking great so far, like a shadowgun port with more depth, MUCH more depth!
Key words: is now. Shadow gun was $7.99 when it released. Not saying we are aiming for $7.99 but they charged a lot more when it came out and just did recently drop the price to $.99.
Not to hound you, but dude, seriously? First you go and ask for high quality ports of "modern" games, then when you find one, you expect it to cost $.99? Really?
How could this be a Shadowgun port if shadowgun is an iOS game? Also I think MUSE is quite different from Shadowgun
This game and Shadowgun both were created using the Unity game engine and both are 3rd person shooters...those are the similarities right?
Yeah. I really hope this runs well on iPhone 4. Warm Gun was a complete flop because it lagged so bad.
Yes both M.U.S.E. and Shadow Gun were made in Unity and are TPS games set in slightly futuristic settings, but that's pretty much where the similarities end. M.U.S.E. features an "Adrenaline" mode, arcade style scoring system with combos, a crouch cover mechanic that lets you choose where to take cover, a multidirectional roll feature that allows you to avoid oncoming fire, grenades!, and upgradable character and weapons.
M.U.S.E. on IGN Nice article on M.U.S.E. hit IGN today. http://wireless.ign.com/objects/123/123190.html
Release Date coming up! According to an IGN interview, this game's coming out before Christmas! Also, there is some other cool info in this link: http://wireless.ign.com/articles/121/1213186p1.html Edit "after reading the post above me": Crap....Wow I am very stupid XD Sorry for the unnecessary thread bump! No one hurt me...please! XD
This game... Doesn't look fantastic to me. It reminds me too much of shadowgun, with the running down a hallway thing. And the movement animation should definitely be fixed. So should the quality of the UI buttons
Really looking forward to this one! Chain killing, destructible environments, arcade scoring, upgrades to the weaponry and ammo, this game looks very promising.
