Oh that's reassuring. This sounds like an interesting concept. If it works well I think I'd prefer it over joysticks
I don't. Shadowgun has awesome graphics. That all we know so far. Other than that what sets it apart from the other 3rd person shooters out there?
I think there is plenty of room on the app store for two awesome TPSs to survive. Not to mention they seem to have plenty of differentiation.
@iNexus: let's hope not, but they do have a good following on the net based off their reputation and previous games. The only people who can decide whether or not M.U.S.E. is overshadowed by Shadowgun is YOU ALL. @Dirty Harry Hannahan: thanks for the vote of confidence, we are pushing our game in all dimesions to compete directly with Shadowgun, but our game will have a different feel than Shadowgun naturally. We are pushing for more of an arcade style action experience that rewards players with not only appealing visuals, but destructible environment pieces and a scoring system that grants extra points for combos and using the adrenaline mode.
Good morning all, and thanks for the feedback. @Dirty Harry Hannahan: You can expect M.U.S.E. by the end of the year.
Awesome, and any idea how the game will look on iPod touch 4g compared to the screenshot a few pages back?
Looks the same on iPod Touch4G as everything else except it doesn't support the bloom effect for adrenaline mode (right now an iPad2 exclusive feature) and is on a much smaller screen.
Not quite yet, we will let you know closer to release. Nothing outrageous, but will reflect the quality of the game.
the first screens reminded me deus ex. i hope there are rpg mechanics such as leveling up and skills which are lacking in ios shooters
There won't be any explicit leveling-up mechanics, but we are toying with the thought of having upgradable weapons and stats with the points you collect through multiple playthroughs.
