THE NETHERLANDS #3 ROGER-NL, Oct 17, 2019 The game looks difficult if you ask me, beautiful but hard I geuss, hope it’s easier than the Witness bc that game was to hard for me, I hope it eases you in with the mechanics, looking forward to it, 7 years in the making wow, hope it doesn’t need me 7 years to finnish it he he. macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #4 macplash, Oct 17, 2019 @ROGER-NL The only difficult aspect I found playing the Witness was a lack of map. Since I have no sense of direction whatsoever and am able to get lost on a one-way straight street, having no map in a game is a big deal for me. That’s also my only concern about this game. Because from what I’ve seen in the trailer, getting lost seems to be the easiest thing to do. We’ll find out tomorrow. macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #5 macplash, Oct 18, 2019 It's out now. Manifold Garden. DonnyDJ76 likes this. Not as much personality, but plays better than Bradwell. On my last gen regular iPad, the game runs oks, but the lines are pretty jagged so the res is low. Kind of sad considering that is all there is to the graphics. I was able to turn on two lasers already which makes me think it isn’t too long of a game, but there could be a lot that I am missing or a part that I get seriously stuck at... On the one hand I love the general aesthetic and the feeling of exploration and discovery that’s going on, yet I’m finding the puzzles a bit uninspiring. I’m by no means disliking it and it does keep pulling me back into it for just another go, but as mentioned earlier in the thread it lacks a bit of personality - so far at least. The external architecture is pretty spectacular but the actual interior puzzles are just generic rooms connected by generic corridors. I’m still playing in the hope that it might get a bit more interesting but at the moment I’ve got to say I’m ever so slightly underwhelmed. TheGreatEscaper Well-Known Member Oct 10, 2014 1,025 22 38 #19 TheGreatEscaper, Oct 21, 2019 Give it a bit of time, guys! Having reached the third ‘world’ as I can roughly describe it, things open up a bit more and there are puzzles that definitely start spanning much larger spaces than single rooms. I haven’t been able to spend too much time on it since reaching that point but it did seem like a promising development of the game - a few cool new mechanics appear! anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,127 703 113 #20 anthony78, Nov 20, 2019 Been stuck on a puzzle where you have to get a green block onto a spot on a red wall. I know that you have to use red blocks to put the green block on to get it there but I just can’t get it high enough. Anyone know how to get past this? Hope that description isn’t too ambiguous.
