Just went back to replay MC2's campaign, and dang I forgot how crisp the graphics looked on iPhone 4. MoH better not disappoint. Yeah I agree with the whole freemium deal. I would much rather pay top dollar for a good game that is fully unlocked than have to pay to unlock the full capabilities of a free game. Not to mention I really don't want to deal with removing ads and stuff.
I trust that. I know Gameloft isn't entirely incompetent. I'm 98% positive they wouldn't dare release a lag-fest. Especially on such a highly anticipated game. I was just referring to the latest (from what I know of) media released on this game.
But the numbers bear it out. Freemium gaming is the only proven way to attract casual gamers enough to convince them to part ways with their money. You are likely more of a dedicated gamer, so you feel differently, but a much larger percentage of iOS owners are casual gamers. At any given time 8 of the top 10 highest grossing games on the U.S. appstore are usually freemium.
oh god! from what i saw! MoH wasn't that laggy, dear lord if i had to made that clear.... i saw that video, and i didn't see lag, no more than what you get in 9mm or any other recent GL games.
Hahaha! You, my friend, are in denial. There was some pretty noticeable lag throughout the playthrough in the video. Check again. First of all, why would I make that up.. Really. Yeah, Let's Golf! 3 is pouring in with 4 and 5 star reviews. Most of em, I assume, are no more than casual iOS players. But that's who (again, I assume) the title is aimed at as a casual style game. Gameloft sure made a lot of the more "dedicated" players mad by switching to a freemium model and enforcing it by removing the previous versions. Imagine the massive outroar/boycott if they were to attempt the same deal with, arguably, their most popular game. I doubt much people would play a freemium shooter while they have the option of playing MC2 or any other non-freemium.
Pretty sure there's a huge difference in gameplay and personalities of the people who play those lame freemium games and people who play online fps on their phone...highly doubt this would be a freemium game guys...I expect this to be 6.99-9.99 with additional map pack/ weapons for 99 cents for a limited time. Then go up to like 2.99 probably.
I hope your right, Dubstep. I would rather this game be at a set price, even if it's 10 bucks. I hope Gameloft doesn't drop the ball on their marketing campaign. What they did with Mc2 was perfect, they set a price and to this day it's their most popular game.

Man, I hope this comes out on Wednesday... but the way Gameloft is so secretive, who really knows??? Gameloft hasn't given anyone a real clue on when it will be released. I will gladly pay 10 bucks for this game. I really hope they don't go with that freemium stuff. Most people can't stand it. I'm still trying to figure out their marketing campaign with the .99 cent ad?? Strange... who knows what Gameloft is up to??

Im surprised, like everyone else how this is not being bumped every minute!, if this game is coming out tomorrow night / thursday morning then i am so so pumped. just hope that it lives up to the expectations, Mc2 is great and all but i fancy something different
I'm pumped for battlefield 3 aftershock not this game. Why? Because MOH looks shit and BF:3 aftershock looks really good!

I'm not mad nor troll nor kid. Medal of.. march of heroes looks like peace of shit. It looks like mc2 only with different engine and graphics but it has the same shit voice acting and the same shit models, cut scenes. If it wasn't made by gameloft the game would be fine!

If graphics are improved with the unreal engine and they have great multiplayer like Mc2.... then it's a win for everyone!!! .... If anything from what I've seen from Battlefield 3... Nothing impressive, but I'll have to see when that comes out.
