Yup... Yellowjacket is arguably the strongest character in the game. Very high damage output, and 2 skills that provide at least some form of evasion/invulnerability while dealing damage. On top of that, most of his skills re- target when the current target dies, and his every skill is AOE.
Singuality!!!!!!!! So does this mean A-Force is in the next Avengers movie??? I asked for She Hulk a while back but seriously, Singularity and Sister Grimm are beyond any wishes I had! Thanks for sharing!
I still really wish they give Hulk a couple interrupts on his skills. He's heavily outclassed by Giant Man, Black Panther, Ultron Prime, Drax, Rulk, CapAm, Venom or Hulkbuster because he cant get any advantages in trading. I havent seen a high level Nebula, but i can imagine her wiping the floor with Hulk's pants even if she doesnt have interrupts since she has access to +Lightning which increases her entire kit's damage output.
Will it mainly be around A-Force? Coz i really want either Doctor Doom or even Magneto even if he is on a branching arc only. Magneto's still my favorite Marvel character and would pretty much want to play Future Fight as him. I hope maybe even Thanos could be included sooner since he's already part of the MCU.
Yes, the (much awaited) update is out tomorrow (August 26), although the official forum is still quiet about it. Nothing unusual about that, their MO seems to be to give just a few hours notice. Hopefully there's a bit more endgame material now, with "Taskmasters Killiseum open. Tournament style? Sign me up! If I read right into that "tournament style" and the teaser from NetMarble that the Killiseum is going to require more strategic play then you can expect that those with a selection of heroes will fare better in it. Why? I'd imagine you'll be going a few rounds against either fellow players or against AI and will have to save your best heroes for last. Further twist: the admission criteria is not going to be known in advance (however they've implemented that is to be seen). It can mean that, for example, you're saving your best 5/6* blasters for last and then never actually use them because the admission criteria doesn't allow blasters for further advancement in the tournament. In other news: 6* Green Goblin obliterated my 6* Ultron, despite Ultron being immune to poison attack. Seems that my investment in Green Goblin (at 5* and climbing towards 6*) is going to pay off. From my experience playing in the 0.0x% Arena, most useful (not most frequent) heroes for Arena teams currently are: Vision Yellow Jacket Black Panther (5* rules the roost - add dodge gear and fill up his HP) Black Widow (5* will hold her own, 6* will demolish competition) Wasp (5* a must; put her as leader) Ultron (must have uniform; put as leader for his attack boost) Green Goblin (at least 5*) Spider-Man (has to be 6*) Gamora (at least 5*) Giant Man is missing from the list. He's good, as Goliath he's even better, but he's also a one-trick pony: Crashing Footfalls is all he brings to the table. His animations are not dynamic enough for most of the time for him to avoid being hit and he gets demolished by blasters and often dodged by more agile speedsters.
I really doubt we will see any Fox characters in the game but Thanos would be pretty cool. Maybe we'll see Howard the Duck!
Good list.. It's still pretty hard to ignore Ronan and War Machine though. The CC they provide (plus some luck) can interrupt a lot of skills making them win trades. Their downside is that ill-timed interrupts would mean a loss since they both only have 1 skill that deals top-tier damage.
Yeah... On the bright side, Hugh Jackman said he'll have his last Wolverine role, which means Fox should either reboot the character or risk losing it back to Marvel. We know Fox cant do rushed films (the new F4 ) so i hope they just concede ownership back to Marvel
Agreed. They're good but rely too much on luck, although Ronan's CC definitely throws a wrench in Spider-Man's auto skill proc. I'm also finding that even half a second skill cooldown reduction can make all the difference - I watched two equally ranked, uniformed and leveled Ultrons do synchronised war dance until second one completed his second skill slightly quicker than the other one - and then it was game over.
I'm conflicted with the upcoming modifications on the token stores. Having it more rng-based seems like a downside for us F2P players. now I'm contemplating blowing all my saved tokens before the update
What modifications? I have a stash at the moment, should I spend it? Edit: Found this page showing many of the updates.
