MC5 - TA Squad

I thought we would all gather round and have a cup of tea and a slice of cake mid battle. Nice virtual meetup.

Of course all of Bravo's tea will be laced with cyanide

 

Hi all, this will be the 2nd MC i'll be playing and i was wondering whether 'casual' players (casual as in skill level not extremely high) can also join a TA squad? It doesn't matter which one btw...

If so sign me in!

Haven't kept up with this thread, do we all need to add each other on GC?

 

I'm not sure but I tried to add some of the people in both squads.

 

Checkerspell is our team leader (The Bravo Squad) so I guess we'll all have to wait for his invitation. I'm not sure though... Anyway..I will be available since midnight.

 

I don't know when exactly I'm going to create the squad, but it will definetely be before 1 pm GMT.

 

Well, that's even better cuz I will need to warm up a little I will wait for Your invitation then. C U online tomorrow.

Excited to pick this up, but I'm not sure I will be available to play much until tomorrow night (EST). Will pick it up at midnight tonight if I'm still awake, but need a night's sleep so I think I need to use some patience. Anyway, my GC was acting funny but I just got it working and just accepted requests from Hunk, Rip and iLooNATIX.

Fellow Squad Alphas, I will do my best but am definitely still a noob compared to most. Happy to be your decoy/cannon fodder if need be, or really whatever the Squad needs.

Any idea if MP works without wifi?

 

Yep. Well, more or less.
It's the team leader you really need to be on GC with but I've sent requests to everybody anyway.

Edit. In relation to Alpha squad, I'll have it in about 4.5 hours so I'll set up the squad straight away and add whoever has it at that stage on the team as well as they'll show up in my gamecenter.
I'll add those that I missed or haven't got it yet around 2pm gmt tomorrow and later in the evening sometime.
Then I'll check again regularly over the next few days to pick up the stragglers.

Edit 2. I'm adding everybody to GC as they appear on the lists that Oscar updates on the first page of the thread.
I reckon/guess if I add everybody on each team it might make it easier to find battles with each other.

 

Bravo squad is going to be made before 1 pm tomorrow, so not tonight?

For people who get it before then, if we are not in the squad, can we still play matches and have our points, or whatever the rewards are, when the squad is created?

Not too sure, but as long as people make an effort in the time limited events, it won't really matter because that is where the rewards are.
And there will be plenty of time to get in to them so nothing to worry about there.
Our combined xp will only count towards team overall leaderboard so not an issue for me anyway.
It's the time limited events that are my priority for the rewards and I'd imagine they'll be daily, biweekly and weekly ones.
And sher look, if some one misses one, they miss one, no big deal.
