Right now- alive4ever In a couple of months- Minigore minigore is a lot more sweeter and with the updates it's gonna be even more sweeter. And... Alive4ever was worth $1
Look dominataargh, since you don't pay for your games I have a hard time hearing what you have to say here, but have you been to the Minigore thread? If you can't concede that a majority of the rabid fanboys over there are quite young, then I don't know what to tell you. I was obviously having some fun with this because the Minigoreites get so hot and bothered when anyone points out what a woefully incomplete game it is. Relax, have a beer since you are apparently of age, and try to keep things in perspective.
hahaha I wonder how many people voted for A4E also have Minigore, and vice versa. Reading the comments on here, looks like everyone who voted for A4E have played Minigore, but its uncertain if the Minigore voters have played A4E (maybe they are too scared to play a better game). It does seem like a lot of the Minigore fans are pre-teen nonetheless, but I would like to hear a couple comebacks to why they voted for Minigore.
Alive-4-Ever. the content is just SO much better.. If Minigore can keep you entertained, go for it. Otherwise A4E is the best, atleast til Minigore gets more content.
ok i'm just curious to everyone who says minigore... NOBODY HAS SAID A REASON! I haven't heard one good reason why it's better than A4E, I know everyone has different tastes, but seriously... it's 1 level. You can't use future updates as a reason because who knows what they will be like. You also can't use "minigore is more polished" as a reason because thats not true at all. There is nothing wrong with A4E to say it's not polished, and the graphics are arguably better than minigore's. I just want to hear some reasons why it's better... because I have heard a lot of reasons why A4E is better. And yes, I have both games and I like both games. I just think that right now A4E is clearly much better.
they like the simple, shallow gameplay (hey, some people enjoy that)! Maybe A4E is too violent (but damn, the blood splatter does look good). Oh I know why, their mommy told em not to talk to strangers !
imo, Minigore is more fast paced, and you can try to beat your high scores. I'm a total sucker for local leaderboards and constantly trying to beat myself. There's your reason. Alive 4 Ever doesn't have local leaderboards, nor a survival mode, Minigore has both. Also there isn't a whole lot to come back to once you beat the 30 missions which turns off some people. It is a big bang for your buck though as long as it's .99. Just depends on your taste.
thats why Im eagerly waiting to see if A4E is going to get a survival mode. You do have a score system in A4E, its just not hooked up to a online scoreboard. But hey, when Minigore gets 4 characters, 30 missions, 3 maps, exp system, 5 abilities, 30 peices of equipment that give stats, 16 weapons, bluetooth 4 player multiplayer, 5-7 different creatures with all different specialties and 3 bosses, then I might say Minigore is better. But the question is what game is better, so what defines better? More content, or more simple gameplay? Better graphics (thats questionable between both games)? 30 missions, or 1 map with a highscore board? More creatures, or less? More weapons, or less? More maps, or less? etc etc etc. Minigore has less, and it is rather the same type of gameplay.
I understand your point, and of course it all comes down to taste, but I would just say that Minigore doesn't have a survival mode, it IS a survival mode. That's all there is to it. It just seems so shallow to me. I think the art direction is great, the dev is all over the forum (even poking a bit of fun at me), and they seem to have good intentions, but good intentions and 10 bucks will get you a shitty cup of coffee at Starbucks. These awesome pictures that Timo posts, and promises of updates are a bit like dangling the carrot in front of the horse. At the rate of updates (not even counting Apple, because even if it had been approved, they aren't ready with the next update) as it stands, this game will need literally months before it becomes anything close to a complete gaming experience.
I personally like Minigore's graphics more than A4E, they are cleaner and sharper to me. However, A4E offers better play back.
I think just about all of us have both. If you think the argument is ridiculous why would you visit a thread with this title? Spare us indeed.
