Is this game still worked on, or is it cancelled? Because I dont understand: On the bike baron + ice rage threads your really active and here it is just dead. Never news, nothing. Please share something, Im so exited for this game.
To be completely honest... I don't see what all the hype is about. The first one got old very quickly because of the lack of objectives. Take for example JetPack Joyride...the game is the same every time but it has objectives to keep you playing. It took very long to get some of those higher end people in minigore, and I gave up in it very easily. If you are still open for suggestions, I suggest adding a campaign or some sort of objective to be completed. Like maybe if there are nights, "reach night 5", and then you unlock something like a new character. This may just be me but I think this will help make this game a lot better. Hope I didn't offend anybody.
They do have a night and day system, a boss system and endless waves of zombies, plus alot more that they haven't revealed yet.
Good point Mr. Anon. Also as far as I understand there is a level editor coming if previous blogs are to be believed. I like Minigore but I'm starting to get annoyed. I don't mind waiting. My problem is the lack of information. Ice Rage and Bike Baron get info. Why not redeem yourselves MS and start giving your fans of the MORE popular game some attention? They're still good games but Minigore is their flagship title.
Not to burst your bubble, but Ice Rage and Bike Baron are FAR more popular RIGHT NOW than Minigore is. Look at the charts. Also saying Minigore is their flagship title right now is something I disagree with. Look at Death Rally, Ice Rage, Bike Baron. All of them are amazing titles, so I think all of them are flagship titles. Back on topic. Probly the reason there isn't info is there isn't much info to update. The original post was more an announcement saying it is coming. But they're also overloaded working on this, Bike Baron updates, and Ice Rage updates ALL at the same time. Still, all in all, Mountain Sheep doesn't disappoint ever, and I'm sure this title will be the same quality as the rest!
Bubble not busted. Fair enough. I never said that they disappointed I'm just annoyed about lack of info. When I say lack of info I mean updating us about where in development they are, how things are coming along etc. If I may ask something without upsetting you? If I do I don't mean to. If MountainSheep is so overloaded how are they finding the time to post on those two forums?
My best guess for the lack of posts is the lack of new info. They don't want to bring out stuff too early, and likely don't have a ton done development-wise. And also the way I by 'overload' was between work on their current games, they haven't had a lot of time to work on this game, at least to the amount of polish and stuff where they want to show media. You don't pick the fruit til it's ripe, nor do you show someone a green banana or something. When it's getting close to frutation, you can show everyone how great it is and everything about it, but if you do it to early it looks like a dirty green banana, so to speak (i know this metaphor is an exageration of this situation, but it does give you a decent idea) ...pure speculation though. Also I don't think they have a ton of what everyone wants to see done, more working on the nitty-gritty aspects of it. I don't think anyone but them knows the answer. All I know is it's probly gonna be awhile...

Yeah, I know how it can be really frustrating, but I think that when it comes closer to release we'll be getting a lot more info (hopefully---after Ice Rage coming almost out of nowhere I probly can't be certain, lol). Granted they probly should post a quick message so people don't question it's existence (see The Shadow Sun and Battlefield 3), I think that they're still doing it all right. And no problem, even I get frustrated by lack of info sometimes!

Take your pick from below... ...because repeated nagging fan inquiries are the best marketing money can buy... ...because ever since third world country interns took over production TimoVihola has no ideas what's going on with Minigore Zombies... ...because they can't stop watching the shark versus zombie bit from Fulci's Zombie; what started out as research turned into obsession (youtube it if you don't know)... ...because they enjoy emotionally manipulating a vulnerable consumer base susceptible to dramatic over-involvement in ruminating over video game release chronology (they are mocking you)... ...because TimoVihola has already commented (here on 12/13/11) to say Minigore Zombies is their most exhaustive project to date that they are trying to perfect before commenting further but people keep bugging him anyway but no one will listen... ...because TimoVihola doesn't dance to your whims... ...because Zombie TimoVihola says that if you've ever seen Video Dead (on Netflix) you know sometimes zombies come out of the screen and eat you; there really are real zombies in Minigore Zombies... ...because of the theatrical marketing power of consumer suspense... ...because Minigore Zombies is vaporware and there's no way Mountain Sheep is getting any more of my god damned money with these games; but I would still like to know a release date... ...because sometimes what starts as an innocent mokey bite ends with lawn mower genocide (if you don't understand Dead Alive you don't belong here)... ...because they have become so addicted to Minigore Zombies they want it all to themselves... ...because once you announce a shred of information the community hounds you with unrealistic demands for further information taking advantage of your willingness to preview information...
