In Mission Europa do you play a melee warrior, with tank-like armor and favouring axes and swords? Or are you a shooter, a projectile warrior, putting your trust in Koolaid Syle Canons and Hitchers and area spells? Perhaps you are a hybrid, switching styles as needed?

I want to hear about your style in Mission Europa!

I started out shooting, but once I figured out how armor worked, I built a tank-like guy with a great shield and the best axe or sword available. What made the difference for me was learning how to use the Block skill and getting the Vampiric Bleed skill. Block lets me get right in the face of bosses and Vampiric Bleed (adds to health by damaging enemy) keeps me alive long enough to finish them off. Vampiric Bleed has also dramatically reduced the number of health potions that I use.

I also learned to use the three skill screens like so:
    1 - passive skills
    2 - minion killing
    3 - boss killing

I want to see how my melee tank warrior fares in the end, and then I want to try a dual-wield warrior, eschewing the safety of a shield for the glamour and panache of wielding two razor-sharp blades :D. Of course, I will also have to try my fortune as a shooter, a projectile warrior!

In the main ME thread, someone (ETA: hamster787) suggested we have a "mage" class. I wonder if you could go through with two shields and skill screens full of area spells? What other styles are possible?

Your turn: what is your style in Mission Europa? What would you like to try?

    i melee now
    skills go
mega powerful skills (axiom of carnage, virus etc)
    random other
    passive
    :D
and yeh it was me who said about a mage class, if ryan made a few more spells that were powerful and recharged quick but could only be used if you had 2 shield equipped then i think it could work
i think its best to let him worry about stability first though ;)

I go for a more hybrid class. Hitcher for mobs in a corridor or narrow space, AoE spells (summons) for large rooms with spread out enemies and switch to melee to clean up any stragglers. Use .223 rifle to snipe long distances or enemies that are spread out.

I also spam spells :D First page of my quick slot are for weapons low cool down spells (~5-10 seconds) and health potion. Second page is for long CD spells (summons, the balls that shoot stuff, doomsday etc). Third page for passives (and shield).

Double wield axes!! Both do around 200 damage right now (I'm only lvl 12). But, I try to stay away from enemies as much as possible, so I mainly rely on my handy Doomsday turret. :)
