I was just browsing TA on the touch and I hit refresh and it automatically brought me to this link http://reader.mac.com/mobile/v1/http%3A%2F%2Fwww.toucharcade.com%2Ffeed%2F No forums though.
That's interesting! Opening the URL on a normal browser doesn't work, but indeed in Safari on the iDevice it gives nice short snippets of the latest 10 posts.
How can it do that? I had to manually enter the URL on my iPod. How can it know? Even in incognito mode on Chrome, it still knows.
Yeah I also manually typed the URL when I was on my iDevice. What I was trying to say that if I enter the URL on my iDevice I get the mobile page, but if I type the URL in Chrome on my laptop, it doesn't work. And yes, websites can see with which browser you're visiting.
isnt this the rss feed? i dought arn would make this without announcing / while on travel / and a long url. actually; i think this is the feed.
I think you're right Danny, the URL has the words "reader" and "feed" in it. So I guess it's simply a nicely formatted RSS feed.
yes. try any rss feed on your iphone; it shows the same light blue format. and the url does state that. i am smart
not really...... r there rss feeds for threads or forums? i dont think it will work though; it will prob. just send u to the normal forums version.
Back to the point, Pocketgamer has one for their website. TouchArcade and Pocketgamer are my two most frequently visited websites, so I'd really love TouchArcade came up with a app of their own.
