Sorry, I do have to reply. For your conclusion to be correct, you have to assume the game is launching in October. Now where is the evidence to support this hypothesis? I personally cannot find any. There is speculation but no confirmation of October release. So take the October assumption out of the scenario. So if we assume that an actual date is in the code, there would also need to be a month included in it. 25 is not a month. 25/10 would be a day and month. I don't see any 10 present to back up your theory. It's not narrow mindedness to disagree with you. It's simple seeing that 25 on its own with no associated month is not a date. Sorry. The 25th of October is most certainly a possible release date and not one that would surprise me at all. But you just make too many assumptions. What if the game is meant to release in November?? That blows your theory completely out of the water. If you can find code resulting in a month, then your logic might stand up to scrutiny. As it is, it doesn't.
If it does come out on the 25 it would likely be total coincidence. I'm going to watch Fast and Furious. Cuz it's awesome. And I'm bored. Peace.
Replying to trolls only makes it worse. Come on guys, this is just stupid. When has Gameloft ever pulled a stunt like this? Why would they? Es just said there was no solid release date, so reconcile that fact with all of your pet theories.
I had no choice but to reply because of the flaws in the logic and the necessary unfounded assumptions that needed to be made in order to come to the conclusion they did. Plus it also kinda showed a part of the human character that once it has made a conclusion, the mind will seek out evidence to support it. Sorry bout that but both my ocd and psychology degree found it too much to pass up.

I'll make another point before I go. The posts disagreeing with the code and the conclusions of some people about the code, or if there is a code at all is still on topic. You may not all agree with it but it is direct speculation about the MC4 release date. And it may go on for pages, but that's your own tough luck when you have a lot of people participating in a forum at the same time. And, anyway, the release date won't be exclusively revealed here. All new info on the game will be on modern-combat.net first. If some of you have no interest in participating in discussion, then don't participate. Forums are primarily used as information and discussion tools.

The last 10 pages of this thread are hilarious, some of you guys are trying to find the release date like its the Davinci Code or treating this game like its the Holy Grail. I'm excited like the rest of you but this is funny

Actually I've been around for all of Gamelofts games, since before the App Store was even around. Look up Asphalt Urban gt and that will give you an indication of how many Gameloft games I've purchased at launch date. And that's not even the first Gameloft game I've had, considering they are around since 1999 and I'm buying their games since then. And also considering, I'm directly involved in the telecoms and software industry since 1992. And that Gameloft is a mobile games developer. Are you sure it's still Flames:2 Rip73: 0????
Ok, I thought my joking tone was obvious, but I guess this is NOT laughing matter! I was completely kidding when I said there is a secret code in the article that reveals the release date! This would be a really bizarre marketing stunt on our part, and I thought it was absurd enough for the joke to be evident! If we DID pull such a stunt, we would have done some publicity on it... I'm really sorry about the confusion! I'm not even sure if this all stems from that comment, or something else. But I assure you: there is no set release date as if yet, as we are still in development. Trying to figure out when it will be released is the equivalent of guessing a horses time when he's in mid race. Or something. I'm not very good at metaphors. Still, I gotta say, I am loving MC fans more and more! I do still think a release date contest is a viable idea. Especially if it illicits such passion....and MATH!
