Patch is working fine. But when i try to talk to the old lady for quests, it gets stuck at the conversation screen. It wont open to the mission select. Happens for both the old lady npc and GH npc.
Happened to me too when i still had that first soft-solution to rename the folders to trick it into reading the english files for the missions. What i did was force re-install the app (without uninstalling, possible through ifunbox), and then apply the patch right AFTER.
Will try that then. Probaby had a conflict with vuze's patch with the soft translation patching that you posted here lol.
The patch does not work. I follow the instructions run the patch on my workplace's Win7 PC and the icon just dimmed after installed back to my iPad Mini RD (non-JB of latest iOS) I click it and it says "installing" for many minutes till I delete. I have tried 3 times but no avail. I even go onto turn off my iPad Mini before installation, but still cannot even launch the game.
Exactly what happened to me. It seems to be that editing the app contents causes the device to not let it install properly on a non-jail broken device.
I am still on the tutorials, since I can understand some Kanji, it is not a biggie for me for the time being.
Mhvuze said he found some dialog like : " purchase additional quest " My question is do they cut off apart the original game to make it become DLC or the DLC is totally new ?
So has anyone tried the patch for non-jb devices? Possibly newer generation devices? I'm still at work and won't be home til tomorrow noon and i'm really excited to know
He thought it would work at first, but then found out it didn't. I believe he's since edited the video to state this.
Tried it out on my colleague's laptop and yep it does get stuck on "installing" and gets grayed out on the springboard. Sux and all my apps got deleted too because of the sync from a different pc
It seems that Capcom thought about putting the DLC of the original game (which was totally free) as IAP, but in the end they scrapped that idea and the DLC is already installed in the game. That, or they are working on new and original quests for this port. This isn't the first time Capcom forgets deleting something before releasing the game though. Volt was going to have Evil Ryu and SFxT was going to have Pacman and Megaman.
For those having problems with the patched versions. Make sure its a bought app, which I think is the only way to get it on a non jailbroken iPhone / iPad without the sign in error, then install it with iFunbox, not iTunes. I would love to try it out myself but I dont want to unjailbreak my iDevices. The only problem i can think of is since the patch was made with a version bought by vuze, it might have his information signed onto the app or something and it will always request for his info when verifying. The only way that might be fixed is if Vuze himself cracks the app, which i think removes his information, then creates a patch from it and reuploads the patch. If he already hasn't done that.

Edit: wow this is taking long, 57.5% and i can't see the install bar move. maybe coz am using an old computer with a blazing fast pentium 4 processor that's still on windows xp lol Edit 2: ok doesn't work. Failed at 70%, says ERR: Package Installation failed (-402620393)
My version is legit and I tried to do it with iFunBox yesterday. The install fails. And Vuze cracking his app probably won't fix anything, because even doing the old renaming folders trick people were doing before Vuze released the patch isn't working on non-jailbroken devices.
Guess the only way to play this in english is to wait for the english version to come out, if it ever comes out. For now i'll stick to playing it with wikipedia open and a few screenshots of the english menu
