Would be easier for himself if he (or better: his character) simply commits suicide. Saves the time for the running part.
It's only becoming critical when your girlfriend/wife/fiancee shows up and asks: "Me? Or Monster Hunter?" Careful with your answer...
Have you ever imagined playing MHFU co-op with your GF? You have only 50 minutes to terminate your target but she prefers to stand half of that time next to the dragon skeleton on the peak of the Snow Mountains and wants to watch the sunrise with you, hand in hand... But you know you're playing too much Monster Hunter when you yell at your cat because the dinner isn't ready at six o'clock. Also, you really should stop raising your arms triumphantly every time you eat. You know you're playing too much Monster Hunter when you're gifting your gf/wife white and cozy winter boots with the words: "look, it's Blango pelt!". Aaaaand you also know you're also playing too much Monster Hunter when you're banned from visiting the zoo because of some mysterious animal fatalities...
... you are being careful when apes/primates show you their backs. ... you get caught with a bone (from above mentioned fatalities) and a stone repeatedly hacking at a crack in a wall. ... the police arrests you for trying to deal mushrooms to elderly people. ... you remember that you need to go on a capture/slaying quest so that your cat comes back home.
Yay just beat him on my first run. Used the Blango-Destroyer instead of the Iron Katana Gospel. He really is the first real-deal monster. Awesome fight though. Wanted to capture him but as soon as I laid out the trap he flew into another area... I'll get him the next time. Can't wait!
Great job Kylie. If you defeated him it means you know the basics of the game. Hopefully you'll capture him next time. I hate it when they flee after you set a trap.
Thanks a lot! I think I still have to learn a lot more about his attack patterns but I always kept enough distance and only hit him when he showed some openings Not sure though if using the Blango Destroyer was the right choice as I hit him whereever I could. Oh and another important lesson I learned: if he flees...get to him fast because of the health regeneration when he sleeps.
I play with my girlfriend. Best of both worlds... She recently went on vacation with her family and cleared the 3* elder quests. I'm so proud.
Just beat the silver Los at the guild hall. He was really easy compared to the black diablos which has a ton of life, lost to it twice already due to running out of time
^ That lance stab hurts when I just look at it. Haha, funny, hadn't played MHFU for years (after my PSP experiences) but so far and except the Khezu and Rathalos, I destroyed every monster (like Kut-Ku, Congalala, Blagonga, all the lizard and shark [...]dromes, Gypceros, Hermitaur and a bunch of other monsters on my first try on iOS. I think it's rather funny how quickly the whole tactics and strategies came back; after my first minor quests, I started to remember all the stuff from a few years above. Really amazing. And also amazing because it shows how deeply you can sink into Monster Hunter games. So I guess that Monster Hunter is like bicycle riding. Once you've learned it, you'll never forget how it works.
Been there. When I was in bed all day after knee surgery, MHFU just came out and that's all she saw me doing. But it definitely got old for her. And that's why everyone else is leveled so far past me. But I get a hunt in now and again still. But please pardon my low level gear and tactics if we ever meet in an online hunt!
Monster hunting is for life! You never forget the skills; track, observe... Attack, dodge, dive, eat.... Survive survive survive... Tenacity is the greatest skill a hunter can have.
I thought fighting plesioth would be easier multiplayer because you could pile on the damage. Didn't realize if one of you died three times you all failed. Do you each have three lives or is it shared amongst you?
