What do you think of the LS? Might be hard for you to get used to though. Will probably take some easier battles that aren't as punishing.
Narca-whatever when playing with Lawliet and Sherlock. How could the designers be ok with OHKO moves and guard-breaking combos?
Yup, it does a LOT of damage, but it's not necessarily a one shot kill, at least not with a g rank blademaster armor.
Yeah funny the Narga is mostly predictable and imo easier than a Tigrex HOWEVER, his tail slam happens ridiculously quick with a huge radius (if you're on his side, you have a good chance of getting hit). My G rank armor Narga set (minus the legs), can't withstand a single hit. Neither can any of my other armors. However it did withstand a shockwave from the side. I only had 5% health left though. Narga is not too hard but he can get lucky and totally ruin it for everyone. That's my experience with him. I got OHKO the first time we played twice by his tail. Actually, all my deaths today were from the tail slam. Nothing will save me from it except being in another spot at the right time.
Yes I got hit three times with it died only once, I was on low health that time. I'm trying out a new weapon type and I kept getting hit a lot.
If you find yourself having problems with a particular monster that has OHKO moves, you could always gem in the Guts skill, that lets you survive if you have more than 64 health points. For the basic decoration you need: 1 battlefield jewel 1 Purple Hermitaur Shell 2 RobustWyvernBone. Really worth it, especially later on, if you intend to fight the Fatalis.
I've had my share of narga tail kills too, but because I use S&S gemmed for auto block, I usually get spared a lot of the damage.
Narga's tail slam? Well i never ever got hit by it, not once. Well i use a bow and never get near him so... Lol
