Goddamn everyone on this thread and the general thread is beating Lao. I fought him near perfectly and still lost. This is so irritating.

Edit:

Tried again. Read some faqs. Used demon drugs, mega drugs, power seeds, switched to the Tigrex Tooth, etc. Nothing. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.. this game is getting really unfair. I'm about to call it quits. Especially when no one here can connect to me and no one online wants to fight him. Even if I did beat him there's no way in hell I'd even get his armor set. 40 minutes to farm for random materials which I have about a 98% chance of failing (or close to that).

 

Man, you shouldn't have left so soon yesterday, you just had to cancel the quest and take it again, that would have resolved the issue I was having.
When we're both available, I'm still willing to help.

 

I'm still having nightmares thanks to the low rank Tigrex, so I doubt I'll be of any help

The only thing I can tell you is to use dung bombs to avoid fighting both at the same time.

 

I'm quite sure it's the Ashen Lao to get to HR5.

@Lawliet if you can't beat him forget about him for some time and play some other quests.

 

I'm so happy that Capcom made it so a pop up doesn't disconnect you from the server. Very useful to record some ridiculous things with Display Recorder

@Varo: I would try other quests but to be honest I'm upset everyone has beaten this besides me. All the regulars and new players have pretty much passed me at this point. I got left in the dust. And most of them got help so I have to do this solo apparently since no one can help me. I started the game before 90% of the people on the thread so I feel really behind.
