Also 2k15 has more reviews than other 2k titles and more than other popular games like final fantasy 7 or real racing 3. At least in the US App Store. This game is popular and sold well, no reason to kill the franchise on mobile. iOS games are the present and the future. With the new Apple TV coming out I am more excited than ever. I dream about the day when I'll be able to start a game on my TV and continue on the go on the iPhone
So 2K released a game today, and it is not 2K16, it is a card game again (NHL SUPER CARD). I guess that's it, we won't see another NBA 2K game in the app store.
Abandoning the iOS platform now is a totally anachronistic and strategically wrong decision. The new apple TV is the future of gaming because it will bring integration between a console-style experience and the convenience of portable gaming on your iPhone/ipad. I'm sorry but I just can't believe that 2K sports can be so short-sighted. In addition to that, even if they didn't make tons of money from the mobile version alone, it is still important to the overall 2K brand. I still think NBA 2k16 will come out shortly, and there will be 2K17, 18, and so on.
Freemium games make money, it's an unfortunate fact. So far nothing but a free card-based game (do we really need another one?) this year...would be great to see 2k16 but I wouldn't be suprised if we don't get it
I sure hope not...injustice was great, but beyond that I've never been too fond of them. It seems card-based sports games are 'the thing' now
And seeing those reviews about their mobile version of NBA 2K15, may be they can't just deliver anymore. I always follow the release of their mobile version, and usually it comes out the same time the PC/Console version.
Last year it came out on the 16th which was 9 days later. But you're right the reviews were horrible because people felt they wanted a console game on mobile... All we can do now is wait
Losing hope and it looks sports games are now being turn in to card games so they can make money off idiots. If you have spent money on a sports game with cards you only have yourself to blame for why this has all went down the tube.
