I am writing an 8x8 matrix game, that moves are made like bejeweled, but the objectives are significantly different, . 3 weeks after I started I was about 75% done. Now 4 months later, I'm maybe 90 % done . Of course, it had been close to 20 years since I'd done any programming, andI didn't have an iPhone at the time I started. The game is currently playable, but not ready to be successfully marketed.The feedback I've gotten is that the game is really good, but the presentation is dull and lacks pizazz. Some of the things I have not yet and have been unable to do on my own are: Naming the game and giving it an Identity Replacing the test sounds effects with appropriate sounds (there are a few places that sound effects still need to be added.) Creating background music Replacing the generic graphics, with something that looks professional Reorganizing the usr interface, Creating splash screen, help screen, etc Creating preferences. Possibly adding swipe moves instead of just double touch moves. Writing the manual. Marketing.
