Any permanent way to get around it? Maybe each of your cars have separate fuel so you can keep playing (similar to Injustice)?

Graphics aren't much of an improvement over Most Wanted, in fact I'd say Most Wanted is actually running at a higher resolution. For the bump in power iOS devices have seen since 2012 when MW launched, this is embarrassing. There's some nice light and rain effects but the game has some really low resolution textures when the cars are viewed up close. The handing feels weird too, the control scheme is tap either side of the screen for left/right turns and swipe up for nitrous (same as MW). There's also a gas tank with 6/6 which leads me to believe it'll be fuel allocated on a timer basis. I also think it requires a constant connection because when I leave the app and go back in, there's a server connection screen. Thanks for nothing EA.
So I've done two races and used two of my six tank portions. When I pressed the gas tank it showed a timer saying wait 1m 3s or pay 3 Gold for a full tank. Edit: it looks like it's 5 minutes per "piece" of gas. After the 1m mentioned above my tank went to 5/6 available and showed me a new 5 minute timer for the 6th "piece".
And THIS is why I get into debates with people who go on and on about updating from iPad Air 1 to iPad Air 2 who think they're going to get an immediate and amazing performance leap. Developers target the largest possible audience for income, which means supporting older devices, which means newer ones never get pushed to the maximum within 12 month, by which time it's replaced. Apart from better loading times on newer devices this game is going to look near identical on almost every iOS device it supports.
EA: Alright kiddies, the game is free but you have to wait so the game last longer and you don't hurt yourself from playing to much. ALTHOUGHHHHHHH, if you want to keep playing, get your mommies and daddies to pay a lil' bit of moneys, Kay?
