If this wasn't called NFS, I'd be saying it's a lame rip-off of Asphalt 8. Drifting is jerky, car physics are kinda off, and the whole game feels utterly boring. And seriously...10 cars only? And out of them, there is the Toyota GT86 and Subaru BRZ which are the exact same thing. There are nice things about it though. Graphics are a bit higher than Most Wanted, and car customization reminds of the older NFS days from Underground. Overall, definitely a massive disappointment. But I'll hold my full judgement and recommendation till it officially releases out.
I feel sorry for you guys who got so excited for this game. I hope it'll improve till worldwide release.
Yes, someone mentioned that metal support and more cars will be added in worldwide version. There are also two more car classes S and R which are not included in soft version.
I'm not saying its a bad game, but it's a bad game. I base my findings on the fact it's not in english. Soft launch? So what. I want to play it now, without spending anything, in whatever language i want. When it hard launches, i will flame it for the pay model, how dare people expect to get paid for their work. I don't mind paying for games, as long as i don't have to pay for games. Take heed EA, we are watching you. Yours bitterly, mainstream gamers xxx
Go ahead and flame. But don't do it here. What good would that do? You're just beating the horse over and over to the point where it doesn't care anymore. It's a little too late to complain about freemuim. Not only this but you think EA's gonna crew that your spamming a mobile gaming forum with your hate while they're rolling in the millions? FYI, I've been playing it, while not understanding the words, but I've gotten near the end of the second crew. You can progress easily without paying money. From the way you say this, I assume you haven't played the game yet no? I'm so annoyed with these F2P haters spamming TA and griping about having to pay money on a game they're trying for free. Everything has already been said and done 10 times over so you can seriously stop with the EA SUCKS bull.
Sarcasm radar faaaaiiiiiling. Please reread light heartedly and see who i was actually pointing a finger at.
Sarcasm? Didn't look like it. It's more of you realizing the pointlessness of your bashing of freemuim games Sir.
No one likes the fact that IAPs are rife due to piracy and the cut-throat market, yet everyone needs to get paid to feed their families. Its a sticky situation and one to take interest in but try doing it with a smile on your face, its good for the soul.
i agree with you half way, sadly there is a big market for f2p but EA is a huge company with billions of $, they pay everybody before the game comes out so it is all about profit, the whole people need to get paid is only true if we are talking about small companies that get paid only after there game turns a profit in that case all the luck to them, but what EA is doing is they are making f2p mainstream and kinda acting more like a dictatorship.
Need For Speed No Limits Car List: Racer: BMW E36 M3 BMW F82 M4 Dodge Challanger Ford Fiesta ST Ford Mustang GT 5.0 Mazda RX7 FD Nissan R32 GTR Nissan R35 GTR Porsche 911 (991) Carrera (no Carrera S and no complete) Porsche 911 (993) Carrera SRT Viper Subaru BRZ Toyota GT86 VW Golf GTi mk.VII Cop: Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Dodge Charger SRT8 Ford Crown Victoria Ford Explorer Traffic: Dodge Charger Ford Crown Victoria Ford Explorer Ford F650 Box (WTF?) The ford F650 box is the big rig truck that I always crash into becaus of bad controls. I've never seen anyone driving a Nissan Leaf or Quest.
Isn't it even less than previous instalments? Same outdated graphics engine, less cars, IAPs... Well, at least they published RR3
I've been playing for a couple of days, these are my impressions: Graphics: There is not that much color in the world, things just kind of blend together. Making out the road is not always that easy though most curves are highlighted by some sort of sign. More problematic are the 'random' vehicles, these also don't really stand out making it hard to see what to avoid. Racing: There is no control scheme which gives you control over the accelerator and brakes. It is full speed all the time. It simplistic but nothing too bad. The vehicles you come across are not random but fixed per race. If you restart a race you will find the vehicles appear at the exact same spots. Be prepared to be outclassed by opponents with a much lower car rating. As long as you manage to stay in front you will be okay but once they manage to get past you they will disappear, never even giving you a change to reclaim the first place. In addition the IA is very aggressive, it will attempt to run you off track and into whatever obstacle it can find. These two things make that this game is not a racing game, there is no actual racing in this game whatsoever. Tracks: The biggest let down is the number of tracks, there is a small number of tracks. I think it is about 5 different ones. This makes the game extremely boring as you will need to race a lot if you want to progress without spending money. In addition the tracks don't even look that appealing. Rewards: The mission races tend to have pretty poor rewards. The cash is okay but the parts they will reward are lower grades. Winning a race which will reward a random reward will present three options. Once you've seen the options they will be turned over and shuffled so you need to pick one without knowing what it will be. Be prepared to pick the least usefull reward often. I would pay for an IAP where at least one of the three options would be revealed before making your pick. Game progression: It takes a lot of grinding to advance. You will need parts to improve the rating of your car and you need to win designs to build new cars or to upgrade existing ones. The parts can be won as a race reward or you can buy them using the IAP currency. Collecting cars through racing will take a long time. A problem here is that cars are classified in one of 5 classes, each class has a maximum power rating which limits the power of your parts. Let's take a D-class car as an example: Default a D-class car has 16 power slots, it can be upgrade to 22 power slots and finally 33 power slots. A C-class car will start with 22 power slots, I am assuming that after upgrading it once it will have 33 power slots and after two upgrades 51 power slots (the starting rating for the only A-class car). I have two maxed out D-class cars and not a single C-class car. I don't event want to guess how many hours of playing the game it will take to have a single C-class upgraded to max level so I will actually have a car with more power slots than I do now. The easiest way would be to build the A-class car but I don't have single design for that as yet. I am afraid at some point my level 3 D-class or level 2 C-class will not have enough power slots to fit powerful enough parts to beat the opponents. Building a different car within the same category is just a cosmetic change, the car rating stays the same. Overall impression: At first the game is kind of fun but once the sheer grinding it takes to advance becomes apparent it quickly becomes a job to play. Coupled with the lack of a decent number of tracks it is not really worth it. Another thing to note is the lack of cops. While they're demoed in the first race I haven't seen one since. I am currently racing opponents of team 3 out of 5 and not a single cop car has made it way into the game. That is just false advertising in my book.
