Sorry Leo, none of the footage beyond the 30 second mark of those videos is from the game. The only real footage is at the 12 second mark in the teaser for about 3/4 seconds where you see the game being played on an iPhone. Everything else is in game cutscenes more or less but game engine generated. And everything after the 30 second mark is from previous NFS console games. There will be no leaked footage by the way. Nobody has it that would be in a position to or even consider leaking it. So unless it comes from the NFS No limits social channels, consider it not real.
yup that's what i was trying to say, i use to work part-time for the EA head office in vancouver if you see the place you know why nothing gets leaked lol, if you work on a game you're keycard doesn't open the door to any other section but your team its like a boot camp
My bad then for misunderstanding your post. But yet Gameloft still adopt the premium pricing model for Modern Combat. As for download numbers, I can't see that for MC5 but it is at number 100 in the download list in the iTunes app store. There are also a fair few of these 'anomalies' of successful paid for apps. Make what suggestions? What possible opportunity do we have to make suggestions that the likes of EA are going to take any notice off? Please enlighten me. As for the rest of the comment, F2P is here to stay because the developers will ensure it does, because it's a hell of a lot more lucrative for them and punishes the consumer. But again your argument is flawed because as you say, it's the big developers that make tons of money from that 20%, this is why they will never change the model no matter what you or I or anyone else say's. It is a flawed model built upon greed and lies, advertising 'Free To Play'. Thankfully the law is being changed to stop that mis-leading statement. Anyway I shall leave it there... As for this game, we can but wait, I think it will be better than Asphalt 8 and despite FM's F2P model, it is better than Gamelofts one! So will be looking out for this one. But their hasn't been much new news about NFS No Limits, just speculation in this thread. No new gameplay videos or anything.
It's a quad core GPU and a quad core Arm 9 Cortex CPU. So it does have a lot more grunt, and just plays games primarily rather than email etc. But I think ANY decent new tablet has the power for open world. But weather you see a car racing game like that is something else. Oh sorry for the double post.
I'm really going to have to recommend a lot more research on you're part before calling someone else's argument flawed. My point is based on extensive and numerous market reports but I'll leave you with one of them only as they all support the same statistics. https://recode.net/2014/02/26/a-long-tail-of-whales-half-of-mobile-games-money-comes-from-0-15-percent-of-players/ There's extremes individual examples in every case but the underlying facts (based on even more up to date data analysis) shows that an extremely small percentage of players actually pay anything in free to play and nothing near what you seem to think it is. There are numerous more reports on monetisation out there and available through a simple Google search. I strongly recommend reading them next time. Edit. By the way, you misread my original post. Again. I told the facts that it's currently 2%, roughly, that actually pay, not anywhere near 20%. 20% is the figure for possible paying players that would represent a change in the system that I want to see happen because it offers a greater opportunity to balance things for developer and player.
I would assume much of the enhancements that the Vita enjoys would be negated by Metal on new devices though I'm not sure how helpful Metal API is since I'm not a developer. The iPhone 5s uses the next generation GPU of the PS Vita so it theoretically should be pretty close, with physics just a tad behind due to the dual core processor.
Good news! Developers will post some info for the game in the next few days! Here is the post from NFS No Limits's FB page: "Happy New Year to you, our new crew! How's that headache coming along? We're here for you. Keep at least one of your eyes on the page in the next few days for some sweet details on something you may have already noticed from our video!"
Need For Speed: No Limits official twitter also posted this today: "@NFSNL: Happy New Year to you, our new crew! How's that headache coming along? Keep at least one eye open here for something sweet #Hoonicorn"
I will go CRAZY if EA|Firemonkeys not give me the chance to be the COPS this time! (just like NFSMW).
Think it will be news about the gameplay or something that will be in the game? Like certain car? That would be plain hype for nothing, I hope there will be a soft launch.
Need For Speed: No Limits official twitter posted this on Twitter. "@NFSNL: The first car you drive in #NFSNL is this 2015 #Ford #Mustang GT! Design was a collab with @kblock43 & @TheHoonigans "
I knew it, we want to know about the game, for all we know it could be a friggin' lane runner that's on the rails and requires "fuel" each time you crash your car. My guess is that they don't have anything playable to show yet so they came up with something available in the trailer. All they did was tease us and state something obvious that was already known. I don't care if it's the FIRST car you get, I want to see some hands on gameplay footage. Geeze EA.
Skeptical about this one, just looked at Facebook and the whole comment section is people asking for it to be Free to Play.
People asking or not, this game will be Free! All you guys have to do is pray for reasonable IAPs prices. Firemonkeys learned too much with RR3. But remember... NFS is not Real Racing and never will be. Do not expect the same quality in graphics! Here's the first international rumor... Release date: 22-01
