Those blue blobs look a bit generic, thought about replacing them with fish that go in and out of water, crumbling platforms, or a mix of both? And what about some unlockable minigames? Weapons for Santa that you can buy at a shop with coins found around the game? Have an endless mode for intense and wild running and gunning fun after campaign's over? Gotta keep us occupied. And what about some lost reindeer to find and ride around (similar to NES's Yoshi)? Got any stuff in the game that let's you rack up combos? Extra unlockable music? And can we see the icon?
Cool game! When do you plan to send it to the AppleStore? How long do you think will take to approve? Christmas time is near!
The original goal was to submit but the 24th. We may still make that. Hard to say. Who knows how long it will take them to approve it. Typically they get things within a week. If it takes longer thats fine though. We wanna make sure it is right before we get it out there. Even if it only makes it two weeks before christmas I think it will be worth it. I'm sure a hardcore gamer will take it down fairly quickly. Play time is comparable to an NES Megaman. (meaning some hardcores will beat it in one 6 hour session, most will only finish half, and about 10% will only play the first 2min and say it sucks and has bad graphics lol) Of course unlike megaman it will have more than 8 levels. Megaman can get away with that though. If anyone else these days made a ganme so hard it only needed 8-10 levels it would get booed out of the appstore before it was even played.
