Traktor's awesome for EDM but without pitch bend/nudge its useless for tracks with live drumming where the tempo drifts. I threw a couple of old disco records at Djay and it compensated for the drift and kept every kick lined up. Pretty neat. Plus you can use a midi controller and nudge beats manually. If you beat match without auto sync Djay wins hands down.
Lol I don't have jog wheels but apparently the scratching is decent with the Numark controllers. Traktor really shines for the effects, UI and the strict BPM auto sync - it's ace for techno - but Djay is the best solution for manual pitch control/bend and beat matching. Both are cool.
I have the feeling that the sale is over soon. So try out the Lite versions (see OP) and decide if the app is okay for you. New review video: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
Already got the iphone version. Contemplating getting the iPad version just because I want to be like Mix Master Mike.
