Apple updated their new line of imacs today, along with other things. the update includes: New Line of iMacs, New MacBook, New Wireless Mouse "Magic Mouse", New Wireless Keyboard, New Mac Mini, New Time Capsule. MacBook update coming soon.

    Apple iMac Update:

Apple refreshed their new line of the iMacs along with a new 21.5 inch and a 27 inch screens. First off, the 21.5 inch screens come in two different models, the first one (which is $1,199) comes with:

    3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    4GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x2GB
    500GB Serial ATA Drive
    NVIDIA GeForce 9400M
Apple Wireless Keyboard (English) and User's Guide
    8x double-layer SuperDrive
    Apple Magic Mouse
Apple Wireless Keyboard (English) and User's Guide
    21.5 Inch Screen

The second version (which is $1,499) of the 21.5 inch iMac includes:

    3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    4GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x2GB
    1TB Serial ATA Drive
    ATI Radeon HD 4670 256MB
    8x double-layer SuperDrive
    Apple Magic Mouse
Apple Wireless Keyboard (English) and User's Guide
    21.5 Inch Screen

Apple got rid of the 24 inch version of the iMac line, so as of now, there is only a 21.5 inch and a 27 inch versions available, now onto the 27 inch iMacs. Apple released two different 27 inch iMac models today too, which has never been done in the history of Macintosh. The low end 27 inch version (which is $1,699) includes:

    3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    4GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x2GB
    1TB Serial ATA Drive
    ATI Radeon HD 4670 256MB
Apple Wireless Keyboard (English) and User's Guide
    8x double-layer SuperDrive
    Apple Magic Mouse
Apple Wireless Keyboard (English) and User's Guide
    27 Inch Screen

Now, for the exciting part, Apple released a Quad-Core 27 inch iMac today (which is $1,999) and includes:

    2.66GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
    4GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x2GB
    1TB Serial ATA Drive
    ATI Radeon HD 4850 512MB
    8x double-layer SuperDrive
    Apple Magic Mouse
Apple Wireless Keyboard (English) and User's Guide
    27 Inch Screen

    The MacBook Update:

Today, Apple update their MacBook which is Apple's version of a laptop. Apple, didn't update their MacBook Pro laptop line which is their more expensive better laptop's. The new MacBook is still $999 USD same as before, and includes:

    2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    2GB DDR3 memory
    250GB hard drive
    8x double-layer SuperDrive
    NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics
    Built-in 7-hour battery
    Polycarbonate unibody enclosure

    The Magic Mouse:

Apple also came out with a new mouse called "Magic Mouse" which is wireless and uses Multi-Touch technology which is what is used in the iPhone and iPod Touch. Essentially, the Magic Mouse is one big multi-touch button, the "Magic Mouse" uses a combination of swipes, touches, and gestures to function and to move the pointer across the screen. The orginal Apple "Mighty Mouse" can still be bought from the Online Apple Store. For the list of the hand gestures etc... please click here.

    New Wireless Keyboard

Apple also released a new wireless keyboard today. There's nothing a whole lot new about the new keyboard except that it's wireless. The keyboard runs off 2 AA batteries, and uses Bluetooth, but there is no USB 2.0 slot on the new keyboard to sync your iPhone using the USB 2.0 slot like the old keyboard. You can still but the old wired keyboard from the Online Apple Store if you wish to.

    New Mac Mini:

The Mac Mini is the smallest, cheapest Mac there is to date starting only at $599. Well, Apple did numerous things today to the Mac Mini, now, you can use your Mac Mini as a server (includes Mac OS X Snow Leopard Server) which has two 500GB hard-drives but no Slot-Loading Super Drive. There's still an option to get the Mac Mini that's not a server which has a Slot-Loading Super Drive but only 1 hard-drive, no second hard drive. The Mac Mini prices are, $599, $699, and for the Mac Mini server it is $999.

Interestingly the display port now has an input too, so supposedly you can use them as a Display Port monitor for another Mac.
