It's an interesting choice for the forum layout even though it's gonna take some time to get used to it. But I like it! Let's go nuts with avatars...
Yes, animated avatars don't work anymore. Can I keep mine? Also, you need to write up some rules regarding avatars. Some are pretty obvious (like no explicit stuff) but some aren't. Like, am I allowed to sport the same avatar picture as the TA staff? Am I allowed to have an icon of my favourite iOS game as the avatar picture (because someone might mistake me for the developer of that game), or a logo of a company etc.
When you click on the TA logo on the top of the screen now it goes to forums index page instead of toucharcade main page as before. I'd appreciate if it was the same as before, is it possible?
Not really issues, but those things will bug me for the rest of my life now that I've noticed them. Why is the multi-quote an actual picture and not just text as the rest of the buttons? It doesn't change it's color to orange on hover and the font-weight makes it stand out from the rest of the buttons. The blank avatar shown in the forum thread is , when you go to the user's profile page it's blank, and when you see the user in visitor messages, his avatar looks like this Again, not really issues just unnecessary inconsistencies. I missclicked or unintentionally clicked on the logo a lot of times (a reflex from other forums, where usually clicking on the top goes to the forum index, not to the news section). I like it better now. You still have the main "home" button right there.
No need to. Just go to your control panel > avatar > and upload one. Or make an iOS app. Whichever you'll find easier.
I like it a lot so far. Is there a selection for source editing? Sometimes these WYSIWYG do jacked up things and it's nice to be able to edit the source. Maybe I'm blind but I don't see a toggle.
Quite a surprise--I like it! (I hope more pervasive AppShopper integration is part of it. I'm a constant AppShopper junkie, checking release schedules and past update notes, and looking at sales. I'd love if every mention of an app anywhere on TA would have some little AppShopper quick link too.)
For a moment there you thought I made an app. I will always cherish this little moment. Weird. It didn't put my editor to WYSIWYG mode. Just go to user control panel > Settings & Options > Edit options > Scroll all the way down to Miscellaneous Options and switch Message Editor Interface to standard editor - extra formatting controls.
Hehe. There are also moderators and I've seen the occasional user who's been granted an avatar by mods before.
Oh, wow. Love the redesigned iPhone and iPad Games section, though it might take some time to get used to.
Two quibbles, although I do like it: - Maybe the green Online badge could be moved outside/below the avatar? - Use CSS word-wrap:break-word (or a smaller font at least) for user names? Mine is cut off now.

Great job guys, the new design is quite amazing. I love the new appinfo that stays on top of the thread! Bug Report: The menu that slides down when you mouse over a user clips through the avatars of the posters below. You can't quite see the menu because of that.
