New Square Enix RPG - Chaos Rings [Trailer video now available]

Any ideas on the length of the game? I'm hoping for something with lots of depth.

 

A good story line usually accompanies final fantasy games so i hope so too

 

Is this a 3g only game? :'(

 

No such things have been reported but first gen people may have a bit of trouble.

I keep thinking about this game, makes it rather tough to wait for it's release now that we know it's coming and after watching the trailer.

 

they said theres 5 different storylines; one for each team. that seems like it would give some good playtime

 

Do you pick your team or do you control all of them as the story progresses?

 

This is probably the most anticipated game for the iDevice at the moment.

 

I only saw 4 characters/4 scenarios ... from the trailer and the IGN..

you can swipe your finger anywhere on the screen to move your characters.

These new images however show the hud in action, what very little hud there is

I am guessing for movement it's going to be a touch-anywhere analog stick, not limited to the bottom left or a constant overlaying one.

 

I think it's more touch controls (tap to where you wanna go sort of thing)

 

I do hope we will have the option to choose between a virtual stick and the touch anywhere option.

Sometimes, the joystick works better...
