i really thought it would be out sooner but looks like we have to wait one more week anyway,let's all rejoice because it will be sure release next week

Yeah: So it's 'see you next week' from Escher Yes, but I'm worried it'll be as 'good' as Terminator Salvation or Castle of Magic. It's alright, but once you try it on a 3GS, you just can't go play it anymore on a 3G. It's just too choppy.
Yeah I prefer the simple icons than those that try to fill everything in that little square. The only SE icon I like better than Chaos Rings is Hills & Rivers. Final Fantasy 1 & 2 are very nice too and I love it, but they're in the same vein with Chaos Rings: white and minimalist. However, my favourite icon on that screen must be Space Invaders Infinity Gene. It's just awesome!!
I think that it would look nice it if was done like the FFXIII Gallery icon; a semi-transparent face with the logo placed over it.
Remember that S/E did the same thing for FF VII on the original PS1. The game had pre-rendered backgrounds, but the battles had all been in 3D models. So I think there is some strain on the processor and we'll findout next week how it runs on the older devices. I cannot wait to download this on my 3GS and my wife's 3G to compare framerate and see if the 3GS has an enhanced graphics or shaders
To me, it's not an icon. They didn't even spend one minute thinking about one. It's just a simple silly character snapshot, no special light, no slick border. But ok, checking the other SE icons, they really don't put any effort into this. But this is a detail, I know... and hopefully, they put every bit of skill and love into the game. But to me, the icon is like the package design, like the cover of a normal game. And therefore, I like it, when it's looking awesome. The infinity logo, for example, blows all other logos out of the water - together...
I bet you love EA icons then? Oh no.. please keep it the way it is. Simple and minimalist ftw. Please do! If it's very similar (like Street Fighter IV), then I'd buy it on day one. But if there's noticeable difference (like Terminator Salvation) then I'd wait for a sale (or until I get my iPhone 4G) since I know my experience will be compromised too.
