"iDon't have a real keyboard" Touch screen keyboards are fine. They take some getting used to, but they're far less clunky than "real keyboards." "iDon't run simultaneous apps" +1 for Droid "iDon't take 5-megapixel pictures." Meh... I'd much rather take pictures with my Canon. "iDon't customize." It customizes enough for my needs. "iDon't run widgets." Widgets would be nice, I guess. "iDon't allow open development." Big deal. "iDon't take pictures in the dark." But my Canon does... "iDon't have interchangeable batteries." +1 for Droid
Lol. Did they hire the same guy to do their marketing who did the "Nintendon't" ads back in the early '90s? Wow, I thought the days of that sort of advertising were long gone.
android os is just crap so laggy and sloppy to me, the phones don't function right. Iphone os will always kill, I mean neat, orderly, and just frickin amazin'.
Soon, I will have my hands on the sleek and somewhat-sexy Palm Pre until the iPhone gets a better battery life (and comes to Verizon, which I've been promised...?) and Android patches up their OS.
Well it depends which phone you have. Android as an OS beats the iPhone OS anyday. Customizability is great, the features are great and widgets are even better. The Android Market is bullcrap, and the fact that Android is on a hundred and one devices make it worse. If the iPhone didn't have such a great AppStore, it would be absolute bullshit. Luckily for us though, it does have such a great AppStore.
I had incentive to stay with Verizon, so I decided to pick up an Incredible. While I like certain aspects of Android, I feel iPhone OS (or I should say iOS) is more polished and has the advantage of not being spread across 100 different phones, some of which won't get newer updates. The App Store kills the Android Marketplace. I downloaded the apps I needed and hardly go back since there's never anything new except for porn apps (Jobs was right on the nose with that one). However, Android has won me over for one reason. Emulators. They work awesome and give me hundreds of amazing games to play. I'm playing the games iPhone developers are trying to imitate.
Worldwide sales figures 1.Wii – 70.78 million 2.Xbox 360 – 40 million 3.PlayStation 3 – 35.7 million With world-wide sales numbers like these, does one month of number for U.S. sales even a comparision.
I don't know where you have been because the Wii is so far ahead of the ps3 right now and the 360 is also ahead by a good amount (mainly because it was released a good 2 years before the ps3 though)
