News on Rolando 2

One man created Rolando? Wow, he must be a *insert corny and super powerful being or entity's name here*.

 

Just so y'all know, Rolando 1.6 was just approved. It should show up in the App Store shortly.

 

*checks* Yessir there it is ! First update I've had for anything in weeks! Been missing them, especially seeing as I'm a bit of a compulsive 'check for updates' clicker ... same thing is happening with the wait for 3.0 software now ><.

Edit: fun new level. Curious - you can start the king moving while the cutscene is playing, but it won't follow focus on him. Looks a bit funny with the diamond behind the spinner when that's going as well. Ahh well, now to wait for the next levels - at least there will be plenty more stuff to play with in the meantime with 3.0, and I'm planning to fresh restore with it, so can play through all the other levels again as well !

mr.scruff is one of my fav artist/producers.... are you planning on releasing the music for rolando and/or rolando2 for the peeps that buy it?

Hiya. You'd have to check with Mr. Scruff's record label NinjaTunes. But some of his stuff is available on his site. (The second track, ninja tuna mix pt 2 was used in Rolando).

Loving the video. I have a question njmoco . Will Rolando 2 have Plus+ integrated? And while we're speaking of Plus+, will your older games (Topple 1 and 2, Rolando, etc.) be updated to have Plus+ as well?

 

Yup. We've relaunched the Rolando 2 site with a lot more info about the game. The real highlight, though, is a video walkthrough narrated by Simon Oliver. He should be unleashing a new one every few days.

 

Plus+ is a go for Rolando 2--and it is even teased on our site update. There will be challenges to issue and scores to compare.

As for our back catalog, we have not yet decided their Plus+ fate.

Yeh, did not notice. Thanks for replying. Games like Dr. Awesome, Dropship, Rolando 1, and Topple 2 would greatly benefit.

 

I noticed that the website is a lot slower. Oh well, better that than no content. And I'm liking how it's shaping up! The video looks amazing! I definitely will buy this when it comes out!
