After approx. 3,5 years of development, we are very happy to announce that our game NimNims is finally available on the App Store. Yes, it's a match-3. No, it's not like all the others! NimNims is a real arcade puzzle game. Most match-3 games are more or less turn based. You make your move and then need to wait for everything to settle before you can make a new move. Not in NimNims! NimNims keep falling in from above. Not only can you catch the falling ones or swap to make combinations, you can also move the ones that are already fallen, wether it makes a combination or not. To dig out the ones you need or to prepare for better combo's. You can quickly push one in between, catch a falling one with one you are moving so you can create 4 on a row or drag one away for example to avoid a power-up from bein triggered. And the NimNims are all fully 3D skinned animated characters, each with its own emotions. They respond to the gameplay. There are different themes, all with their own unique set of NimNims. We have put a lot of effort in the gameplay elements, making the experience as smooth and 'jelly' as possible. The game is 2D grid-based, but we did not want the player to actually feel that he is restricted to this grid. It was also quite a challenge to get as much as 96 realtime skinned animated characters on screen while keeping the frame rate high enough for a smooth experience, even on an iPad 2 or iPhone 4s. Update released Our new version 1.0.2 was just approved by Apple and is available for download. It fixes some small bugs and improves iPad Pro support.
