The latest tour from Nine Inch Nails has been put together by fans to DVD, Bluray, iPod and any other format thinkable, while Trent Reznor (NIN) has supplied them with HD footage from the tour, so that they could make their own concert film.

The footage is totally awesome, being as good as any concert DVD you can buy, but here you get it for free.

    So go ahead and download:

    Your welcome!
I downloaded this yesterday and it is totally awesome! Reznor is putting out his stuff for free on a regular basis nowadays, which is just another way of saying thank you to the fans, finally one who isn´t money greedy and uses his independence in the right way.

I know, although he needs to make money some how. (He normally gives Demos and Samplers away). WM (Warner Music) totally ruined things. At least it's free. :D

what's that site that reznor set up where you can download the raw tracks of his music and make your own remixes for upload to the same site?

He makes money when selling tickets for his concerts. I think that is the way to go. Sure most is demos and samplers, but he isn´t independent that long and since then he gave away a whole lot of tracks from Ghost and the whole new album The Slip away for free.

I hope he continues doing things that way.

I kinda wish bands would start doing what Linkin Park is. They give you a code when you get your ticket for the concert, they record said concert, and you can later go onto the web site and use the code to download it for free. It would makes live shows so much better than they already are. Bands that go crazy with the merchandising make me sick.

The way that Linkin Park is doing it sounds good on paper, but why don´t they make the whole thing free for everyone interested? It would make more advertisment for the band and the people wouldn´t feel left out.

I prefer the Grateful Dead's method. Record every show and sell each version on their website, available to anyone. Buy the show you went to or buy the ones you missed, whatever.

This one though, is admittedly badass. A little over the top, but still badass.

I suppose you could stick to just buying CDs and giving them absolutely nothing.

I was agreeing with you :)

Are any of those versions a DVDRIP size? Something like 700MB - 1GB, I can't be bothered to download anything bigger.

Well the smallest one is the iPod version, which is 1,7 gb. Anything less and the quality would drop too much.

I know had the chance to watch the whole concert film, which is over 2 hours long and I must say that it is totally awesome! Visually and musically a real highlight. Some very cool ideas with lights and integrating that with the music.
