I am jealous. Xenogears wont run on the older 3DS systems. I suspect it wont be the last game either.
Xenoblade? Control wise, I think the only challenge is to turn the camera without the c stick. The game looks pretty poor on the new system, so maybe the Small upgrade to the processor is the reason why.
I've been playing Xenoblade on the new 3ds and I'm amazed with the game. It truly is an epic rpg and probably my favorite jrpg-like rpg. It's more like an mmorpg though with super awesome engaging and strategic battles skills and abilities. The new 3ds is pretty alright. Not a fan of where they moved the cartridge tho as I've already ejected a game a couple of times mid-play.
They're all spiritual sequels/evolutions of each other No actual continuity connections I know there were several xenogears games though (all connected) and I believe there were a few xenosagas (all connected). But the upcoming Xenoblade chronicles X is completely unconnected to the original. It's a spiritual sequel that uses many of the same themes and mechanics. They're all grounded in that they're all JRPGs with an emphasis on interesting combat and a sci-fi backdrop (I looked this all up a few weeks ago because I was curious as well haha)
Such a fun game! Wouldn't mind it hopping over to iOS either .... But TeamMeat. By the way, Babadook was hella scurry
Haha, glad you recognized the avatar! And yeah, I remember initial rumors for Rebirth coming to iPad, but doesn't seem like it now :-/ I guess it's fair, BoI without buttons would likely be hell anyhow
Where did they move the cartidge to? While i am asking, why the heck to companies put headphone jacks on the bottom? Resting the device while one is lounging becomes either cord breaking or off kilter.
Cartridge is now on the bottom so you can possibly press it when playing with your finger or if you are holding it against your body . I haven't had an issue though but some have complained that they have lost save data from it. On another note Xenoblade 3D is phenomenal!
I can't wait for BoI either :/ The Super Meat Boy game coming to IOS would also be an instabuy for me
Now Playing : Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call. Reminds me of Square's iOS rythm slasher Symphonica but with final fantasy music, characters and rpg elements. -two thumbs swishing up-
