Here's the link to the Nintendo Life page. "Loads of new achievements" is in the list of features to the expansion. http://www.nintendolife.com/games/switch-eshop/binding_of_isaac_afterbirthplus
They need a system-wide achievement/trophy system though. And a way to see your trophies online. That's the part that Nintendo doesn't seem to like for some reason.
Having fun with this device, can't wait for more games. (not pictured off to the side, Blaster Master)
Personally, achievements aren't that important to me but Nintendo has their head in the sand if they don't see the importance of an achievement system. I know it's a deal breaker for some.
I've never been able to get into Binding of Isaac, but a lot of people love it. I enjoy other twin-stick rogue-like games like Enter the Gungeon and Nuclear Throne a lot more. Those would be great additions for the Switch.
When it first came out on IOS I played the crap out of it but after a few days I practically never touched it again. So thats what worries me a bit here but who knows.
Anyone know if we can move our games that are pinned on home screen at all? Like I want Zelda first buts its 3rd right now?
Also have u heard? 16 million more units are being produced for this year alone! From the original 8 million! Crazy, really hope it keeps this momentum going, and i feel they will as they have done the right thing by spreading their games out over the year.
Man just found a part in botw that actually scared me! God damn did not know what to expect!! If u hvae played that bit im sure u will know what im on about lmao otherwise no spoilers. Also found some awesome secrets a couple that ive not personally seen on the internet yet
I'd vote for the Shovel Knight Treasure Trove collection, because it's actually three excellent platform games. I'd take that over Binding of Isaac - and it's half the price. But the potential games library is actually starting to look pretty good now.
I just cant believe that im 100 hours in and im more addicted then ever to BOTW! This far in and its still putting a smile on my face. Finding secrets is just so rewarding, just loving ever second. After this much play for me personally its the best gaming experience ive ever had and thats saying something!
