I agree it’s been very silent on here though I still have hope for the iPad version I hope it releases by the end of the year I’d like to hear something more from the developers at this point
Well guys. Sean just posted another emoji for No Man’s Sky on twitter. So something is coming. It could be just another content update. So I wouldn’t get your hopes up too much. However, when I looked at the emoji, a devil emoji, it got me thinking. I wonder what the odds are that it is the Apple release. Because the devil offered an Apple to Eve. So maybe… I don’t think they are just going to put an Apple emoji. They probably would want their clue to be encrypted a bit. You know how some devs are with clues. Fixed Photo
Good point. Some are saying it might just be a pirate update or weapons update, etc. I’m seeing Lots of guessing from the fan bases.
Whatever is going on it's simply a textbook example of bad communication after what went down at the apple event.
I don’t blame Hello Games for not talking about it that much. In the beginning Hello games was more forward in their development of No Man’s Sky they promised all kinds of things, but time was just on their side and they couldn’t deliver everything on launch almost destroying the game with bad press. They learned their lesson. Luckily they stuck with it, updated it a lot. But I agree a little info will help, like saying the Mac and IPad are still being worked on. For the WWDC It was more Apples fault. Apple couldn’t wait, they want to sale more of their products through No Man’s Sky and try to get other big games to Macs. Edit: it also looks like the recent emoji was just a content update. The Interceptor update.
Perhaps we will see this at WWDC on the new AR/VR headset? It would be a decent launch title and would explain the delays and why everyone is being a bit cagey with release dates.....
A new Depot Branch showed up on SteamDB yesterday for “No Man’s Sky” called (bejryy) Which presumably translates to (Orwell) by using a (Caesar Cipher) and a 13 letter shift. Apple’s first commercial was an allusion to (George Orwell’s) novels. Also If you click on the update history tab on the left you will see several added MacOS changes as seen in the pictures below. These changes also happened yesterday. By the looks of it, it appears they are preparing for the MacOS / iPad update soon. WWDC 2023 is right around the corner. Fingers crossed. Edit: Sean retweeted with a second Apple emoji, “green”. Edit 2: Sean posted a 3rd post. Now there is a red & green Apple together. Maybe each post represent a device. Mac, iPadOS, & Apple VR. Just theorizing.
Yay finally so pumped to finally play this on my iPad Pro do we know anything about device compatibility im assuming since metal 3 only supports A13 and up all M1 iPad models will work?
