Interesting! This is the first time I hear about it. Although I can't do that as of right now because I'm met with warning window which claims there's credit on my default store and I need to use it first before switching to different country. Well, I'm going to make some purchases and try again later to see if it works. I'd be more than happy with such easy solution because as I wrote earlier, I'm losing track with such amount of different accounts just for soft launch releases. And thanks for your advice.

No. When I tried to switch stores within the iTunes I was asked to connect with my AppleID and password which is valid only for a specific country. So it seems it's not that easy. Or I'm doing something wrong. Nevertheless, I created another account just for Saudi Arabia (luckily the creation process is still in English even though licence agreement is in arabic) and I'm downloading the game right now.

OMG, guys, did you try this game? I've never seen anything visually so stunning. And the crowd control is amazing, this is the are where NaturalMotion has no competition whatsoever. Even their Clumsy Ninja is still beyond anything else technology-wise. So inovative!

Unfortunatelly, the current freemium model is everything I hate in games the days, so I'm gonna pass. I just keep this game for a while to be amazed by its visuals whenever I want. Because it really looks like nothing else.

Looks like the hype has dissipated. Word is they are working out some of the last few big bugs and we could see the worldwide release soon.

So, just how interactive are the battles, and how much room for victory through skill do the mechanics leave?

Is this something along the lines of Vega Conflict's battle mechanics (so far, the most interactive combat of any social freemium base builder I know of, next to the unreleased X-Mercs), with light RTS elements, and occasional tangible impact of positioning and maneuvering?

Or are we, and here's to naive hope ;) , looking at Autumn Dynasty-style in-depth RTS mechanics, and associated depth of strategy?

The combat works in a couple ways. You can auto the fight and the game will make moves for you or you can choose to line up your troops in the arrangement you want and then draw a line for the path you want your troops to take (surprise an opponent from behind some trees, flank the opponent from the sides while your titan engages from the front etc), also mid battle you can on the fly select a troop and draw a new path for the unit to take (dodge a spell, double back to pick up a drop, lead a group of troops into a tight bunch and then scorch them with a fireball). The combat is as interactive as you want to make it. It's the most control over a troop set I've seen on mobile and all the fights are real time, not turn based like X-Mercs.

So I guess like Autumn Dynasty in the drawing of the battle plan. I personally find it more engaging than Vega Conflict.

I highly recommend this game. The Freemium elements are there in full force but it's a rewarding and gorgeous RTS.

Guys question, if i install it will I be able to save my progress (so if ever the game comes out of soft launch will i still keep my data, since I usually delete my soft launched apps when they're released worldwide since its more comfortable for me to just use one account)

You can backup your progress with iExplorer or CopyTrans or any other 3rd party app you can think of if you're on iOS 8.2 or lower. If you're already on iOS 8.3 you'll not be able to save your progress anymore because of Apple's increased restrictions.

Is this the only way to backup the game :( ??? not even iCloud? or does the game have something like WB Play (maybe not us buggy if ever) or is the data connected to GC At least, so I can save through there?

There's GameCenter for achievements and leaderboards but I never heard about using it to save your game's progress. I don't remember if there's anything like WB Play. The game's F2P with worst possible freemium model for me so I deleted it pretty much instantly despite its "out of this world visual quality".

Define "the game's f2p with worst possible freemium model..."

So, virtually every F2P lol. They are aggressive in that it costs a lot of gems to do anything, but they are far from the worst I've seen.

The game saves on the server and uses the device UDID to link it to the cloud. Facebook login with transfer saves when it releases worldwide but isn't active now. They have added safeguards to stop people from saving with iFunbox etc as there was a lot of cheating.

I would urge anyone who tries the game to keep in mind that it is softlaunch right now and not the final product. The game has already gone through several economy changes and will likely go through more. They are working hard to find a balance. When the game first launched it was pretty generous with its monetization, then people hacked and they changed it to favor big money spenders. The community was mad and I wouldn't be surprised to see them change it again.

Natural Motion (the dev) is very receptive to player feedback. I am confident they will find a good balance so free and paid players can enjoy it.

If you want to help shape the game why don't you play it, send the devs some feedback and help the game grow!

    Cheers!
