Initial Impressions So having played the game for not too too long yet but I think getting a slight grip on it I must say this game is genius so far! The art is very "twisted" like Alice in Wonderland style (which is great) The battle system is very intuned and on your toes. Slow enough to react but not so fast it's twitchy. I think it's right in the middle. It seems to keep you on your toes enough and it makes you a part of the battles instead of just clicking a confirmation button. Very clever what they've done there All in all I am enjoying this and haven't seen any flaws so to speak. I will agree with earlier post about BLIND is BLIND! You still see what you need to do but you have to know the timing if you want it to work out for you. It can be slightly unforgiving if not careful and attentive. I was literally at 3HP left on my main dude with my other chick dead already when I hit the boss the last time. It was about as close as I could get it but worth it to get the V All in all great game so far and a def pick up for any RPG-style fan or skills based fan
Beta Tester I am testing this one I have only put in about two hours and hope to play a lot more today. This game is so awesome as a fan of RPGs it's hard to find anything to complain about and I havent had any crashes or encountered bugs. The battle system at first turned me off to the point I thought about giving up on the game but I stayed with it and after a few battles I find it very good after all.The battles can be more challenging then I realized at first and also can last a few good mins and I find both to be pluses. Tactics are important as well. Looking forward to getting further into it. One question I had was the pricing will this be premium or F2P? Also it would be cool one day to play a full on explorer/dungeon RPG with a story that has this game's battle mechanics.
Been playing for a while and have some first impressions. 1) Seriously whacked out art style. Final Fantasy meets Yellow Submarine. It will definitely stand out. 2) Voice acting is interesting. It fits the game, however. 3) Game play is spot on. Controls are easy to use and responsive (REALLY important in a game like this) 4) Not far enough into the story to make any judgements. All in all, this game will DEFINITELY not be forgotten. Enjoying it so far. Keep up the great work! Glenn
Loving the game but have a question. I'm assuming once the game is released all our progress will be gone. Is that correct?
Here's one suggestion. Increase the price of the consumable items. They are too cheap and easily abused. Most especially the one that cures the entire team of status effects. Too cheap for what it does.
I thought the same thing about the consumables being really cheap. Perhaps in the next build it was going to be done. After all, the test flight Build said to test for stability issues.
A turn based game for newbies, but not only. Almost a year ago i quit testing games. Most of you know how fast the backlog is growing, and on the other side, i didn't want to spoil the new releases anymore. All games should be new, fresh and played together. That's one of the best part, specially if you're a member of TA, right ? But i couldn't resist on this one. After those videos and great first impressions, i sent a PM to the Devs, and they let me in. Thank you very much ! As i posted earlier in this thread, i'm pretty much a newbie to this genre, which is absolutely not my cup of tea, but this turn based killer game doesn't only demand your brain (yawn), no, your skillful observation, reaction and activity (yay) is needed to tap and swipe your enemies into oblivion. And all this is done by some very responsive controls with a perfect fair timed window for the gestures. I'm two hours in (only stage 4) and i'm having a blast with this bizzare looking and sounding jewel, and everything runs buttersmooth with no lag or crash on my iphone 5s. @Devs I don't know if you'll do a survey in a later stage of testing, but it seems ok to post everything here, as well ? From a defeated enemy: "I only lost because i...i got a hole in my socks!"
Ah, now that I play it the consumables to feel a bit cheap. Have you guys tried Veteran though? We still have plenty of spots available in the beta, make sure to sign up via the link in the original post!
I finished the game. I really enjoyed the story and the game is simply EPIC! Until the sequel comes, I hear a beach chair calling my name...
Finished and laying on the beach as well, waiting for a call to... Not one boring moment and not one crash the whole game through. It took me close to eight hours with 20/39 stars. A lot of time got consumed by reading (def better on a bigger screen) the stats and making so many decisions what to upgrade. I switched between casual and normal mode. Only the first stage, so far, i played on veteran. Oh boy, here it comes hard to hard. My goal is to get all stars, though i'm not sure if i can do it on my iphone. Our ipad mini is still on version 7, but this game would be optimal to be played on that, imho. Edit: i will PM you soon all my impressions, tips, typos and little wishes. Edit 2: you're the Devs of Spoiler Alert, right ?
I cannot wait to get my hands on this if there are any spots open. This looks absolutely fantastic and gorgeous. I signed up.
I would guess around 6.5 hours and 22 stars (I have already deleted the game off of my device). Before I finished, I went back and three starred the early levels and had two stars on most of the latter ones.
I pm'd you my impressions, but i forgot to say that my only crash happend exactly when i started your game and my timer started ringing a second after. Exept the last four stages, i beat the rest on normal and stages 1-6 on veteran. Hard as nails on my little iphone. Seems as i have to convince the future owner of my ipad mini to upgrade to ios 8, otherwise i won't be able to beat the rest, probably.
I like the concept, yet it keeps crashing.. The furthest I have been is the 3rd enemy in the tutorial. Ipadmini2
I'm in love with this game... I played non stop on my trip back to Dallas today and I made some great progress... I'm on an iPad Air 1 and haven't ran into anything out of the ordinary. Playing each level on hard mode because it is worth the challenge... Alice 1st special is very difficult as well for a starter attack. And Vonn special attacks are hard as hell to execute lol but I just use him as my trolling tank.
We've identified that on iPad mini 2 and the latest iPod it seems to crash Trying to debug now, while working on new art work
I just sent an email earlier about a glitch earlier that the timing circle not appearing correctly on the screen. Hope you guys receive it. I did try 2nd time and seems like I manage to replicate the issue. Besides that the game is pretty awesome so far. Trying to dig in a little more
I finished the game today without any crashes at all on my IPad mini with retina. I had 38 stars out of 39. I will play more later to get the last star. I was at level 20 and had just under 20 hours of game play. This is a fantastic turnbased game. I just wish they had an arena mode where you needed to defeat all the bosses and got special items. You could also have a mode where you play to see how far you can get up the leader board tracing attacks until you messed up. "I..I.....only lost ....because my Jo.....my jock strap is too tight!!
