Crashed on my ipad 4 during training, but restarted the game and it works fine. Pretty cool everything with the little I've played so far. UPDATE: Crashes quite a bit right at the end of the first fight every time.
ta-daaaa! http://i1378.photobucket.com/albums/ah106/Thedrawguy/Mobile%20Uploads/2015-02/96A28E12-BCB8-4B53-B46F-D31A08FB11BE_zpsyqtmrt8f.png Sorry , could not figure out how to make the photo show up by itself.
for me i get a glitch from time to time where the timing ring is not appearing on screen making it hard / impossible to capture the timing to slide / tap. So with that it is hard for me to challenge the hard mode. But overall the game play has been great this far.
You mean the glowing outline for the perfect timing? That means your character is inflicted with Blind status.
I just sent a fresh batch of invites to TestFlight! We're working on both the identified crash issues, and on reworking the background artwork! What do you guys think?
The new background art looks great, but the art and the game as a whole seemed ready to go with the prior build. Just get your older device programming fixes in order, crank up your marketing minion(s) and unleash this puppy on the world!
It's a completely different style. We figured we'd go for a fairytale waterpainted style, since this is exactly what the game is about - a twisted, story driven fairytale RPG
Just sent the latest updated version to everyone who's in the beta. It now has some of the newer artwork in the first levels
What an eye candy gorgeous overhaul you guys made, really! I also wanted to check the last stage, concerning black enemies on black background (think it was the first level), but i always get a bug report and "leave the app". Also, the screen doesn't auto-rotate anymore. I'm quite sure it did before (?). Edit: same bug for Harrow Forest chapter 9+10. My guess, the later levels aren't ready yet...
That's right, that stage is still in progress -- we're gradually overhauling all of the artwork It's funny because the game was ready to go, and we just decided to completely redo it #indielife
Yeah same here... Stage 10 and just getting a crash bug. However, i gotta say the visuals turned out looking better.
I wanted to keep playing the beta because it's soo good, but I don't want to ruin for myself when it's released. Great game though, day 1 purchase from me.
This is probably the first time ive added this in my beta notes: Please rebalance gold gain. Reduce the amount of gold gained by at least 10%. Heck 20% even. Thing is, those who want to get better with the character skills will keep playing to practice those, and eventually amass enough resources to afford the best equips the shop can offer by mission 8 or 9 in normal mode. Those who only want to complete the game without effort in learning perfecting the skills can play easy mode or even normal mode. My $0.02. Oh, and please devs, add consumable IAP for those who want to get the endgame items from the start. In this day and age (and platform), i strongly suggest to devs trying to make premium titles (not the one-trick-pony titles) to add consumable IAPs. Some of the best examples are EPOCH titles, Ravensword Shadowlands, Kemco titles, and all of Foursaken Games titles. IAPs in these games just arent needed unless you want an easy out, but they would guarantee a few more bucks to those who want to go that way. This game is fantastic from the visual style to the story cinematics and to the fantastic gameplay.
Whatever happened on this update, it is not crashing after the first battle for me. So looking forward to playing more, as I was really eager to get into this.
