Why compromise on your standards just because this is a mobile game? Combat is like a slow stroll through the park..rather easy and uneventful. The 'Puzzles' are a real chore to carry out and the looting... well there is practically none of it and you get a pathetic amount of equipment slots. The graphics are really good and detailed though and I can see how people will like this so long as they don't expect a dungeon crawler with frantic hack/slash action and huge randomized loot tables. I personally felt that the game didn't provide enough plot/skill progression, looting or fun combat to motivate me to finish it. Chocolate Well-Known Member Jan 10, 2010 1,092 0 36 #6 Chocolate, Oct 19, 2012 Seems like a great game so far. But on small devices, like iPhone and Touch, some of the text is really small and dark. Fonts need to be larger and colors brighter. It's all fine on iPad, but on 4 inch screens, not so much. Also, needs WIDESCREEN support. I didn't find the game that great, but it's probably worth it for .99...BUT it isn't worth taking up the amount of space that it does on my device. jeffyg3 Well-Known Member Mar 22, 2010 1,251 0 36 #9 jeffyg3, Oct 19, 2012 Been playing for over an hour. This is really good in its own right...mobile or not, if you were expecting a fast frantic Diablo experience and a clone of it, then thats your own fault thinking its going to be a game it's not. Action and RPG elements are pretty enjoyable and I'm very much enjoying it. This should hold me over until Infinity Blade Dungeons. violentv Well-Known Member Nov 4, 2010 912 0 16 #10 violentv, Oct 19, 2012 Last edited: Oct 19, 2012 Are you trying to get a rise out of me ? Those are generic aspects of dungeon crawlers so I was just sending out a warning to anyone expecting that. To me..it has almost no redeeming qualities as a game..mobile or not beyond its decent graphics. >.> I am probably in the minority though! This is not a diablo adventure clone. This is more like an RPG game. It has fantastic graphics on my new ipad. A great intro, and the touch controls, while at first may seem strange, it's not all that bad. Sure, as many wished for joypad controls, this would be cool to try it like that style since it would be close to Diablo, the current control method works and is enjoyable as long as you aren't expecting too much. For 99 cents this game is a steal. Well worth the money, and heck, maybe we will get lucky and get a future update with additional things added on like other controls etc. But get it, highly recommended! chris1a Well-Known Member Mar 10, 2010 1,335 1 0 Sweden #19 chris1a, Oct 20, 2012 Virtual controls are also in the next (inbound) update. Now that I bought it, maybe I'll just wait for that next update and delete it for now, and play horn for awhile to save some disk space. Horn is pretty fun even though it had its critics too. Man, I LOVE having a new ipad when I get these awesome graphics games on my new ipad. These kind of games just look wonderful on the new ipad, retina ipad graphics are just getting better and better. Can't wait til the next generation of games comes out. Virtua controls on this game probably would rock. It would be hella fun if you could switch back and forth between virtua controls and touch. That would be cool. Looking forward to it. Thanks for the heads up. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
