PK = Player Killing Yeah, getting ganked while questing and fighting other mobs is pretty lame. Hopefully once they have the pvp arenas set up, all the pkers will have a better venue to vent their player killing desires.
Yeah. I really hate them. When i reach max level, maybe i'll be a PKK, and hunt them down. Like maybe when they are farming, then when they respawn. Let them feel how it feels to be ganked. Seriously though, Gameloft must do something about this open pvp or if not, do something about spawn killing
For those higher levels who have reached forced PVP areas, Raul from GL on the official forum said, "Hi all, We are very glad to see we have such an active Community and we were really sorry to get to know how much are you suffering because of PVP. We have forwarded your suggestion to the appropriate channels. We are re-thinking this aspect of the game and you should see it improve soon. If you have anything interesting else to add don't hesitate to send us your suggestions. Best regards, Raul"
I kind of like the way the PVP area in the desert is set up. There are quests that force you to go there but no quest hub, and (thankfully) no quests that force you to lead a single NPC anywhere. The only problem is that it's so enemy-packed that it kind of ruins the fun that could ever come out of having large-scale battles, except maybe at 60. For the time being there really needs to be some major detrimental effect of PKing, especially lower levels. Maybe a 50% health loss for a certain period of time if you kill a certain number of players below a certain level (10+ below?). It's pretty difficult to think up a fair alternative. But seeing "HALP LVL 60s IN VEGA SQUARE" every twenty minutes is irritating, and probably even more so for those who are forced to put up with it. Whatever. I just got to level 46, does anyone know of any major quest hubs that open up in the desert that aren't in the portal-able areas? I haven't explored some of the map, but I've been grinding for the last level or so and feel like I'm missing something.
That's one of the repeatable quests, the description should really say so. All the repeatable quests have bad drop rates, I think they're meant to be done on the side.
I have no problems running around alone even as a divine monk. Heals and buffs work on yourself too Military monks also do good dps.
Each additional point of STR gives you 2 Attack Power. Also, just as in WoW, each additional 14 Attack Power gives you +1 DPS Hopefully, this will help you compare equipment with different STR and Attack Power values. By the way, you can find equipment with both STR and Attack Power on them.
Let's see, I'm currently at level 42 and here are my stats after my self-buffs: HP = 2,353 MP = 4,626 STR = 244 STA = 99 Armor = 1,626 AGI = 93 WIS = 171 Attack Power = 565 (+40.4 DPS) Melee Crit = 64 (21.5%) Spell Damage = 30 across the board Spell Crit = 50 (9.1%) Defense = 29.6% Damage Dodge = 0 (4.8%) Parry = 0 (5%)
Well, I can think of a couple of suggestions, if anyone wants to forward them to GL for me. First, don't force ppl to go through pk areas for quests. But if that's not an option, how about People can only attack other players 2-3 lvls below them and up (ie if you want to attack someone 10 lvls above you, that's fine, but he can't instigate the fight. 2, there should be a grace period after you die in which you can't pk again. Or at least not be attacked (again, you can start the fight after you die if you'd like, but maybe for 5 min, no one can attack you? Just like if you leave pvp zone, you're still in pvp mode for 5 min.). And, man, I would love if they couldn't attack you if you were in middle of fighting mobs. I, and I'm sure plenty of others, have been attacked during the white pebbles quest, and the mobs killed me, so I lost silver that time. It's such a cowardly thing to do and if their own conscience doesn't stop them, then GL should stop them.
I mean seriously, WTF???? I'm losing my patience. I was at the mailbox with a pvp timer on me still and a guy 4 lvls above me starts attacking while I'm sending mail. This has to stop.
Just info, i just respeced my warrior at lvl 45. Heres whats weird i read before that all skills retain their levels. Well a few does, but some doesnt. I had like offensive shout, charge, sonic blade, cant remember the others reset. But a few others kept their levels. End up spending 15 gold total respec. Luckily gold is easier at high levels.
Hello everyone, Just like many of you (if not everyone) I am pretty worried about the developpement of this game. But recently i came across this link that oppened a tiny window of hope in the midst of this ocean of uncertainty surrounding the game. It may not be anything big, but still it helps: Make sure you check his replies in the "suggestions" thread. http://onlinegames-forum.gameloft.com/index.php?action=profile;u=23312;sa=showPosts Oh and BTW, my in-game name is Aitaken and my guild is called Divinity
You've got to wonder what they were thinking in the first place. There's one slice of the player base that absolutely does not grasp the problem and labels anyone with a gripe as carebears, posts "stop QQing" to posts on the forums, and quite enjoys killing and being killed in the games. There's another slice of the player base that absolutely does not grasp the appeal of fighting with other players in the middle of PvE activity. Didn't someone on the dev team mention that these slices of the player base should NEVER co-exist on the same server? Maybe if they actually had made a game about Order vs. Chaos, the common PvP areas might make a little more sense, but since the name Order & Chaos actually turns out to mean it's Order AND Chaos, side by side, holding hands and singing songs in most areas, what possible value or game reason is there for open PvP areas other than to invite griefing? I just keep scratching my head at this one.
I was wondering about this. Do the skills you get originally (that don't require talent points) stay at the lvl they were before respeccing? It would make sense and save a lot of gold. But ppl have told me that ALL skills get reset.
No, it's not a repeatable quest. It gives you a good leather reward worth doing the quest for. There are two repeatable quests there: one for worms and one for spores.
