The guy lives in a hut that's not in glimmermoor. You may see a lot of people lined up to talk to him. Alternatively if you find out where the cave is, you don't have to do the quest to trigger it. The girl and the other guy will always be in the cave. BTW, I tried to leave my iPad on overnight...but it logged me out 3 times. In the morning I almost levelled up and entire level...if not for the log outs I'm sure it would be more. It was about 130 exp per spawn and they spawn like once a minute or something...not sure if they've patched it. I've been grinding at Reverie last night and I've found that those monsters don't spawn in the same place if I stand there.
trade Where can I learn a trade and do I have to be a certain level? I have found trainers around, but all say I can't learn this trade?? I have collected tons of mats but running out of space.
I think you have to be level 8...don't remember. And then you do a quest and you get to choose which trade you want to be in. I believe it's all in Silence.

Yah, it's close, but not in the PVP zone. When I did it, no one was doing it...guess that'll change pretty soon...lol
I don't trust it at all, it's annoyingly slow and buggy as hell. But I still use bc what am I going to do with all that crap?!
Yeah I still list stuff there because liquidation values are so low it's better to take a chance, but I'm not buying any more until they fix the extraordinarily buggy mail system. Out of the last 10 items I bought from the AH, 8 were lost due to the terrible mail system.
Whats even worse is that Login takes hella of a long time. I left my iphone alone for a hour while on the "Connecting..." screen & when I checked, It was still there. Im slowly losing interest now
Up to level 40+ I still haven't found a quest that's not where the arrow points (or really close at least). I'm not sure but someone else might have had the same quest as you and might have just killed the person you're looking for. Then again would even an NPC be that stupid to give the same quest to everyone knowing someone kills the person and the others with the same quest can't complete it.
I'm pretty sure it's Barlock Anyway, yeah just follow the arrow. You need to go through the graveyard and find a suspended bridge that crosses over to the next island. He's pretty much right across that bridge and up a hill. Respawn won't be an issue since he comes back pretty much immediately after being killed (unlike many of the other bosses or NPCs that are needed for quests which cause the spawn camping dilemma).
Is anyone else having problems with the game taking a really long time to connect. This has started happening recently for me. And when I can connect, the game goes for about 30 seconds and then the app crashes. Any suggestions?
Yes, many people are having the same problem. The game is quickly deteriorating into a buggy mess. Each patch seems to make it worse. I hope Gameloft gets it together because this has only been out a short time but has gotten to be much worse than it was at release and is quickly becoming too frustrating to be worth playing.
He drops the Colonel's symbol, right? So it should be pretty easy to get, considering he spawns pretty much right after he dies?
I didn't realize that. If so then yes, it should be reasonably easy to farm those. Hmmm... too bad I can't log in right now :/
Now i am pissed off at Gameloft. After logging in, it has been showing connecting for the last one hour or so....i was almost finished grinding at lvl 47....man, Gameloft screwd the servers pretty big with their wacky updates....
I actually logged in with 20 Ordinary Fur in my bag! I've never picked those up...too bad it wasn't 20 General symbols....lol
