Royce - what "armor shop" are you referring to? I only know of te NPCs at some towns with the shield or maybe sword above their head. Thanks.
The quests at Bordhill won't last you an extremely long time, but you'll soon find a ton of quests at the Necromancer's Academy and at Glimmermoor. The quest rewards at these 3 places will complete a nice armor set for each class, as well as some really nice weaponry.
Grind to 25 and then go to Wyrmgast Library to get new ones. Welcome to the world of grinding. Most often it starts at 24 and will continue more or less up to at least lv45.
Can anyone answer this please ? I'm level 23, i'm in the swamp and have done most of the missions there. Theres a ton in the 'middle' where all the quests are white (Does that mean i have to be a higher level to do them ?) The only mission i've got left is the 'collect 10 swamp worms' and i've done that twice now and have to do it for a third time ! Is this the computers way of trying to get me up to level 25 where i can then move on and do the other missions ? If someone could let me know i would appreciate it, getting fed up getting worms and worms. Want some more proper quests. EDIT - OOPS ! Just saw the post above ! Time to grind ! (LOVING this game, just played it tons, tons of depth to it, had a few issues losing connection but nothing major, superb game)
Crafting Is crafting worth the time & effort? Right now, I am level 54 & my blacksmith profession is intermediate. Since I got 4 colonel symbols & 2 general symbols from the drops, was confused whether to keep it or discard it.... Also, wanted to know if crafting gives you the Xps like the ones that the quests give you, or is it experience for for the profession? I would really appreciate your help....
I noticed that fewer people are online on the Touch Arcade guild after the server bug last week. Could it be that the guild is divided by the system whereby everyone appears to be online but at two separate entities?
I'm having trouble finding Mailboxes and storage boxes in the swamps, does anyone have a rough idea for any of their locations?
You don't. You will find them as quest rewards or as loot. In mmorpgs you generally don't buy equipment
Does anyone know what the best place for quest is for level 24? I am at the city near the PVP zone, in the swamps. Can anyone suggest an alternate area to level. There are too many griefers randomly killing you when you try and do a quest. Opps nvm, just saw post above too
I'm a bit new to the MMO experience (lvl 10 skyfire Mage) and I'm just wondering about the 'griefers' who kill weaker players over and over again (have yet to experience this thank goodness). This is actually a legitimate way to grind or are they simply jerks who are venting their sociopathic tendencies online?
You will get good armor and weapons from your quest rewards but if you really want to find new stuff you can always shop in the AH (what good is all that gold for after all?). I would avoid the NPC vendors with the swords and shields above their heads as they never have anything remotely good to sell. I wonder why every game I have played does this to the NPC vendors... Unfortunately, they are killing others just for fun. They do not get any XP or money for their trouble. The next update will do a little bit to curb the problem but personally I would like to see a PVP toggle in the options (doesn't seem like that would be too hard to add into the game but I am not a dev so what do I know?).
I decided to take the plunge a couple days ago and I've really been having a blast with this game! This is my first MMO, I've always wanted to play WoW but held off because I had concerns that I would like it TOO much and devote more of my time into a game then I should (actually it would be sucking time away from my wife, hopefully some of you can relate Thinking of sending an invite to the TA guild but I don't know if I would be an appropriate fit right now....I'm married, early 40s, work 40+ hrs week so I don't have a lot of spare time to devote to Order and Chaos. I've always played solo RPGs so I'm new to the teaming up with players to accomplish a quest. Been having fun with my Mage but I'm worried that being a lone wolf with him won't be feasible in later levels...
