The scroll icons are purple, once you did it, theyre gone, but once the reset cycle completes you will see the NPC offering the same exact quest again.
Yeap the game has a pretty bad lack of trinkets. Ive found 3. The tooth. The second one is at the quest in the island off the dock in the swamp map. The last one is from the very last quest in the Umbra Rift.
Hey all. I've made a lot of progress on my talent calculator but im still in need of completed talent tree icons... If there are any 60's out there that wouldnt mind taking a quick screenie and posting it for me it would be very much appreciated. I should have whole thing ready to go in the next few days - but at this stage it's looking like it will have 'filler' talent icons until i can get my hands on some. On a side note - It seems to be functioning well in Firefox, Chrome and IE, and in my brief testing on iPhone and iPad safari it seems to work fairly well there too.
You can go on the official forum to discuss or read some of the the classes and races threads, it's very helpful for whatever class you are playing. To get high business currency, you need to craft items then sell it back to a vendor. There are also guides on crafting on the official forum as well. I have a level 60 warrior and a 30 ish Ranger, let me know if I can help you more.
Well spoken. I can relate to a lot what you said there but I wouldn't skip the PvP area quests. The Swamp is indeed horrible but Vega Square usually has so much people they rarely bother to kill you once you learn the routes to use. Other than that your text was pure gold. Funny you should ask. There's a quest north of Port Verecy (Haien) who rewards you a trinket for one of his quests. I think you can start his quests at 26 and the last ones should open at 28.
Hey, this is fantastic. Amazing job you're doing there. You should post it on the official forums(the lvl 60s will def see that). And also try to post it on the wikia(zzell should be able to help you with that). Love people with initiative.
Another tailor question So I finally started tailoring outfits, managed to get all recipes from Silent - how do you advance to another level? I've tailored a whole bunch of outfits and I'm still on the most basic level.
I went to the cementary and stared offing Phantoms - they are lv 40 and drop buckets of gold (between 5-8 silver each) and have a good exp.
Depends on your class. If you feel up for it, I'd say the first part of Sacrathar Camp in the Desert (near entrance to the desert)....for some reason they're bugged to give out twice as much exp as anything else...even across the entire desert (they give out over 500 exp)...although the second half of the camp only gives out 260 exp I think. But it's a zoo in there at all times of the day...there's like over 15 levels of players grinding in there.
They're not bugged, they're elites. Sacrathar Nomads are the elite ones while the other (archers and warriors) are normal. Nomads are a good thing to grind and there's a daily quest to kill 10 of them. I think it opens at 38 or 39. Thing is it's crowded said already. Personally I liked grinding the bulettes and turtles (lv36) west of Vega Square on the beach. The phantoms are also nice, giving quite a nice amount of money for their level. The crafting trainer has levels for sale. They can be found on the last page of crafting recipes.
Many of them are in fact bugged, and its a problem. The bugged spawns, over-crowding, and possibility of dying (if 3 pop up all at once on you) make this a lousy place to grind despite the double xp from elites. Perhaps if your on one of the less crowded servers palying at the right time of day or night, otherwise just do your daily and leave. The desert is very dense, and there are many decent places to grind. The best one is anywhere the monk helping you wants to grind, or if your a monk, where your AOE mage, assassin ranger or any other fast killer wants to grind -- i.e., team up for faster xp. Monk + mage is the best combo I've seen, and is easily twice as fast as soloing for XP.
I've found a monk plus battle warrior goes pretty fast, I actually had a great team, me (battle warrior), a healer monk, a military monk, we were fighting this like 3 levels above ourselves and could literally take out all the enemies in the area at once 8 - 10, it was a massacre and we got awesome xp from it.
I am level 50 monk and getting bored already. All this grind fest is getting tiresome and it just isn't fun anymore, feels more like a chore. I don't think I am going to renew my membership once it expires.
Is it safe to say that some quests are bugged in that they keep having you do the same thing repeatedly? I handed in the 10 worms quest twice and the NPC handed me the same quest a third time. Same thing with a quest where I have to find 10 things that look like a pile of sand on paper. I did the quest twice and he just handed me the same quest a third time...
Level 17 and it feels that way . Was pretty phenomenal when it first came out 3 weeks ago, but that died down pretty fast for me considering I've only logged in 7 or 8 times. Poo.
They are recurring quests you can do them as many times as you want, theres a couple on each of the different places. Only level 39 but its starting to feel like that, I still love the game, just wish there was more quests and less grinding. Although I'm gonna keep going to try and get to level 60 before the instances are brought into the game, as I think those will add a ton to the game. EDIT: Well except if your grinding with a good team of people, that can be a ton of fun.
If you dont want to pass PVP area, do these teleports, if not feel free to walk. Teleport to strangers roost from the desert. Take up the 2 wanted quests there that ask you to kill some named creature... the rest are crap quest in pvp area. ignore. Teleport to suspended city in the rift, go to the east of the city to Vita Spring delight. U can grind or get a team to take on the bandit boss there. To the north of that, is a beach with those sea creatures. Hit the boss there too. You can finish those quests by going to the orc on top of the suspended city. Trying to beat the boss in those 2 locs would give you lvl 51 or 52. Once you are done with that, the suspended city quests are open and u are free to explore the rift, no more pvp area. Dont forget to do the dailies, dont forget to go back to the desert and do the 3 dailies there... kill 6 nobles, kill 3 demons, kill 10 bandits, easy, 35+K do twice a day and u dont have to grind much.
