Looking for a good way to make gold as a level 25 in the Swamps without the threat of dying. I'm thinking chest farming, but I don't know any locations for them. Any tips? Cheers.
Im sorry, but why bother? Theres really nothing worth buying at the stores, ok at most you can do the auction house, even then, the items are nothing but a temporary fix that will get outdated within a few quests. My suggestion is just quickly move on with the story. Save any enemy drops you find and sell them. Look out for pet drops, dont equip them. They are fully useless, only for cosmetic purposes, but they can sell for tons of money, especially if you get the flying ones. Once you hit the desert, gold will come really quick, theres really no need to farm for money unless you really spend on those slot expansions in your backpack and chest, which IMHO is not needed beyond the 100g upgrades.
Hey h1976, I see you on the official forum as well. I now have a level 60 Warrior and a 50 Ranger, personally, life at level 60 is about lux items and you are looking at 100 G a piece of blue, and a good blue or purple I have seen are 350 and 400 G. That's still a lot of framing and camping.
I don't understand your build. You max out off-hand weapon damage, but haven't put points to increase blocking nor work towards getting shield slap (if you're using a one handed weapon and a shield), nor are you putting any points into dual wield. Also, you should put points to increase your hit rate. Finally, most warriors find Charge indispensible.
General's Symbol Does anyone know where I can get a General's symbol? I know they are dropped by high level enemies, but can someone tell me which enemies in particular can drop the general's symbol. Also, is it still a rare drop among the enemies that can drop it, or is it pretty common as long as you kill the right enemy.
I haven't being playing really at all b/c I just don't have the time, now I remember why I quite WoW, but when I do try to log on it just almost doesn't seem worth it. The AH and mail system are so messed up, I can't extract half the items in the mailbox, if they show up at all. Hopefully there will be a major update soon and I'll find more time to play. I really like the game and hope it keeps getting better but right now I just don't find it worth the time for me
They actually seem to have fixed this. You may have a pile of old broken mails with these bugs, as I did and eventually just deleted them all, but anything new should work fine. They don't seem to be doing anything to help people repair broken mails, or retrieve lost auction or mailed items, but they do seem to have fixed the core cause of the issue. I have only gotten one bugged mail out of my last several dozen.
The AH is working better now but the mail system still has a nasty habit of losing items when you extract them. For example, I did an "extract all" of 5 items but I didn't realize I only had 4 free bag slots left. The 5th item didn't have anywhere to go so it disappeared completely, never to be seen again.
Does anyone know of any good spots for farm for level 60 blues? I'm on stone island in Europe which has an extremely low population, and almost no weapons/armor even show up in the AH. Thanks!
Hehe, it reminds me of the bad old days of some of the first PC mmos when items were always disappearing into the ether.
General's Symbol Sorry for the repost, but no one answered my question, and I can't find the answer anywhere. Can someone tell me which enemies can drop the General's Symbol?
Only one I know is the level 61 Elemental King at Twilight. He has a long spawn timer though and is almost always being camped, so it's kind of annoying. Other elites in the Rift may drop it too, but I have not heard that confirmed.

Just check the quest as your active quest, and follow the yellow arrow. It will lead you to a small island off of the Tear Coast south of Bellshoal and west of Salty Wind. There is a strange monolith thing standing on the island which is where you need to complete the quest.
You have to use the item in your bag. Just trying to clarify since I spent like 5 minutes trying to find out what to do.

Can anyone help please? I'm getting SCARLET stones as drop. I'm assuming these are like the pure stones, saithorn statue drops from mobs BUT for the life of me, I just cant seem to find what quest they are for! AArghhh! Can any kind soul point me in the correct direction please? Many Thanks
