I bought a symbol of magicia on AH...never heard of it...looks like a sergeants symbol and has same text. Anyone seen this before?
Quick question....does anyone know if a weapon with the suffix "Of the Murderer", with description for added bonus for fighting humanoids work on fighting other player characters, ie. PVP? Coz aren't all the player classes humans and humanoid types?
I'm not sure if GodSon, Jojo or someone else could help me out with some guidance on builds? As I said last night in guild chat, I feel that the monk is a bit sluggish to level, but I was playing mainly as caster, maybe it should be military? The official OnC forums are great for picking up on tips and strategies around Character Builds. From what i've heard, Battle Monks have severe mana problems throughout the game and Divine Monks' mana woes get better once they get their last skill. But yes, I tried taking my Divine Monk past level 10 and just didn't have the patience. It was by far the most boring class i've tried playing so far. My most-fun builds have been the Ranger (Archer) and Battle/Guardian Hybrid Warrior.
thought it was just me. my main is a 27 battle monk and i can't handle more than a couple of mobs before i'm out of mana.
Go divine if you wanna play monk. Sure leveling is slow up until the low-mid 30s, but after you get Divine Breath you'll literally never have to stop killing. Even though you kill slower per mob as compared to other classes, the fact that you'll never have to stop really makes up for that.
Guild ta still alive! I was without Internet for a bit, logged back in, and the guild was gone I am hoping it was just me gone too long, and the guild is there, which I'm sure it is who can I messege in game for another invite?
would it make sense to continue on as battle for a while and respec in the mid 30's? i like getting to actually be a fighter, but i also like to randomly buff passersby just for the heck of it. still, the build is becoming quite obviously weaker and weaker as i level up.
I bought the game but my ping goes red every 10 seconds and i lag for like a minute... any ideas how to fix this?
Yea go for it. Going military for the earlier levels is a great option because it's far easier to contend with mana problems before the mid 30s, and tbh playing military is a LOT more fun than playing divine (until you get up to divine breath and invest everything else in military tree staff attacks). As a divine from level 1 to about 35 all you'll be doing anyways is spamming Arrow of Light so for sure go military.
Im currently a lvl 36 battle warrior do u guys think battle is good because i noticed that u can do very high damage with a two hander
It depends on the style of the player...if you like it, then it's good for you. There are upsides and downsides to using a two-hander (high damage), dual-wielding (fast attacks & quick morale), and the one-hand plus shield for guardian (great defense).
Where do i buy dual weilding weapons because i seen weapons that say off hand main hand and one hand which do i get??
Whichever you prefer. Those things all basically mean the same thing - that you can equip it using ONE HAND. Keep in mind though that Main Hand can ONLY be used on your main (or right) hand in the equipment screen, and Off Hand can ONLY be used on your secondary (or left) hand in the equipment screen. One Hand can be equipped with both hands. Either hunt for them, get them as items from chests (though this is extremely rare now after the chest nerf), or buy them off of the AH.
That's what I originally thought too but after running some tests, it turns out that the "of the Murderer" attack bonus only works against humanoid NPCs, not other players.
