Got to be said...i've now sank approx 4 hours into this and I think I might be hooked. Highly enjoyable. Great controls and nice graphics. I just hope it does get a lot of future updates.
It's grenadine, which is a type of silk cloth, but also the name of a red syrup. You need about 500 for the first tailoring rank you can buy. IIRC it costs 550 tailoring currency and crafting seems to give you one per unit of material used in crafting (including all materials, also those you have to buy like thread).
This is correct. I did not see where the morale is shown on the screen though I do see it when I go into character stats. Need to have an indicator on the screen during the fight (I did notice that sometimes my icon would blink for skills that require morale - perhaps that is the way?) -Greg
I thought it was shown to the right of your portrait (where mana is for magic users). Is that not the case?
Game is ridiculously addictive aha, lucky i got into the TA guild and i hope Eli keeps playing. My name is just 'Joe' on the Arcadian forest server, if I'm online feel free to try and team up with me
I've been wondering around the 2nd zone with no quests, stuck at level 17. I cannot find the right level quests anywhere. The third zone quests are red. Any one no where to go?
Considering 500 grenadine would probably sell on the AH for a lot of gold, what do you get for getting that far?
Oh then maybe you have completed the quest and got the item that you need to use in your inventory to get the skill. Touch it and there should be a use button.
Stacks of 20 sell for between 10 and 40 silver so it would not be *that* much gold. Farming it is also not hard, ever humanoid mob between some still lowish goblin and some level 13 or so pirates drops it. I don't have the tailoring currency for the levelup yet but the items on the first level that use armor scraps in addition to grenadine are actually not entirely bad. Maybe higher tailoring levels likewise have recipes that are useful around the time when you get them.
EU server seems a bit of a mess at the moment, at least the one I'm on. Mostly people on global chatting in russian, french, chinese and the occasional english chat asking why so many people are not talking english. This is why other games have at least one server with (EN) tagged on the end of the name to denote an english speaking server. Getting a team is not easy. The 'Field' quest just degenerates into a huge crowd of players milling around the spawn point, nobody accepting team invitations, etc. I know what starter zones are like in MMOs, but this is just beyond funny. Maybe I should have opted for a US server, but an in-game warning about lag put me off. It's still fun, but messy.
FYI "global" chat is truly global, meaning it contains messages from people on all servers everywhere. "Local" chat is just the server you are on. If you don't want to see all the global chat, you can turn that channel off. That's the first thing I do every time I log in
Sales? I think this one game might effectively drop global apple game sales. Once you play this in your house on and ipad or iphone...why waste time on the computer for the next few months. What Gameloft needs to do is create a random dungeon generator version of Diablo II. I cant see myswlf playing any other game from my house. Althoug i do need a game i can play withput wifi....hence i need a diablo II clone soon!
That's it, thanks! I was simply taking the letter to the scissors chick. You have to look at the letter in your pack and press a button that says "Survey". That activates the quest. Then you go to the scissors chick that gives you come magic thread icon. Then you have to look at that and press some button. And finally I'm a tailor. Now I can go to the scissors chick and learn how to make some cape of ultimate whaever.
Well I'm new to posting here so sorry if this is an inappropriate place to post this. My only concern with this game is that I've seen a few people complain about the License Agreement or User Agreement that you have to accept to play. I have read that it allows Gameloft to scan your device's memory at will without your knowledge. I really want to play this game, but in an age where we seem to br signing our right to privacy away at every corner, I'm left with some concern. Does anybody have any thoughts or enlightening truths regarding this matter?
How is the armor drops? My favourite part of wow is the frequent and cool looking armour drops does this game have lots of armour and weapon drops or is it all ingredient type drops?
OK, now I'm stuck again. I go to the scissors chick and she says I don't have enough "business currency". The first item to craft requires 30 thread. I've gone to the cogwheel vendor guy and bought 60 thread and have them in my inventory. But the scissors chick still says that I don't have enough business currency. And the thread does not show up on the business currency page of my character profile. No clue what to do. How do I get the "business currency" for a tailor and have it get recognized? Thanks
