Thread is a crafting material. To get business currency you need to craft. You should have two recipes for more or less useless items. To craft, open your spells screen and click on the tailoring icon below the icons for your spells.
This game is pretty amazing. I mean, what really makes it what it is is the fact that I have it in my pocket. when i was adjusting the contrast on my brick gameboy, I never thought I'd see the day. my only gripe is lack of 3g, but eh, what am I gonna do?? I'm loving this game but I hate how everytime you increase your invntory by 6 slots it costs more and more gold each time. My next one costs 50gold ! Also the increased inventory is not cross character. So if I want to level a monk next I'm going to have to pay all over again ! Loving the game and i should point out it's free to play if you're happy to grind. I happy to grind but not with a small inventory for farming. Buzzing with the game though. It's totally lag free on 3G with 3G unrestrictor on iPhone 4 and very playable. I love how you can zoom in and play in First person.
It's sucks to know people have already figured out how to hack and duplicate gold/crystals/items in the game. By the time Gameloft patches it, many players are going to be rolling around with tons of money/runes/etc. That didn't take long, what 1 day? Just a heads up. Source: Gameloft's forums.
The same thing is happening on the US servers, or at least on Arcadian Forest, and the lag is noticeable for me so you might as well stay put on your EU server. I have had some luck with grouping though since it is rather ridiculous and frustrating for a whole bunch of players to stand in the exact same spot (thanks to the overly helpful quest arrow), waiting for a particular mob or object to spawn. There was one quest where a hostile mob kept spawning at the exact same time as the object I needed to collect so I was always busy fighting the mob while another player swooped in and collected the object from right under my nose. Fun times... Another problem with overcrowding is that I'm having a difficult time targeting anything that is surrounded by a bunch of players. Has anyone discovered a good way to target the closest mob or cycle through possible targets?
Is the server down guys? I got logged off a couple of miutes ago and cant seem to log back in. It says request timed out. Anyone having this issue?
Some kind of issue just came up. I've been playing fine for quite a while and am level 9 now. Suddenly, in game the connection broken, and it kicked me out. Now whenever I get to the character selection screen, it says "Request timed out. Please check your connection or try again later. (error id=9000)." I've restarted the iPod, restarted my wifi, and restarted the game. Edit: I guess the server is down then. I hope they're patching it for cheaters :]. High hopes.
I'm not surprised at all you got that message with all the thousands upon thousands of people that have discovered this game. The servers are very overpopulated especially Arcadian Forest.
Noooo what to do now. I guess watch twilight zone on Netflix FTW. @Hodapp how's the toucharcadian take over expansion plans going ?
