OK, server's back up now, but my lvl 21 character can't be retrieved (after 2-3 error messages of it already being logged in). I can't even delete the character or anything either, I created a new character (I wanted a mage anyway) but still. I hope this gets fixed.. I don't wanna lose all that work!
Honestly, I wouldn't worry about that at all. Nearly every MMORPG so far has had a relatively rocky launch, filled with errors like these. The only one I know that didn't was Rift. They'll be restored soon enough, and if by some horribly reason they're not, Gameloft will most likely compensate. I think you buy it with gold from the special IAP merchants. That or runes. I know one of those merchants are in the starter town. Also I've heard of a wolf you can get as a rare drop.
Guild wars is a great game but comparing it to O&C? GW is for the PC, so it's supposed to be that good since the devs have more resources for it ie more memory, gpu, hdd space, hd screen size. LOL good one!
It's fair for people to compare this game to fully fledged PC games like Wow and GW2... Not. People need to get over it, seriously. This is an iOs game on your phone, not a fully fledged 6 year old well established PC title. If you own it, opinions are fantastic but comparisons are mute. Instead of whining, why not celebrate what a good job they did actually creating an open world 3D MMO in Retina Graphics that runs smoothly on your iDevice? How many others have successfully done this so far? None.
Where do I quest after level 20 or grind levels? I'm also in need of a TA guild if there is any room available.
You can get pets by buying runes (these cost real money) and getting them from one of the many vendors scattered around the different areas, with gold (which you can get by playing the game or by purchasing with real money) in Greenmont, by getting an extremely rare drop, or by getting one from another player (such as at auction). Note that the pets are different for most of these categories. For example, there are several different breeds of wolf cubs available. The wolf you can buy with runes is not the same breed as the ones you can get via random drop.
I can't get on, either. I don't even remember what server I created my character on. i thought it had the word Arcadian in it. Quick question... my 7-year-old and one of his friends both have the game and they want to play together. Other than creating characters on the same server, do they need to do anything else to ensure that they will be able to quest together from the start? Do they need to make characters of the same race or something?
Nope, just same server. However, picking the same faction (order or chaos) will ensure they both start at the exact same starting zone.
No luck spamming the Global chat, might as well ask here. I'm level 20 and there's a blockade keeping me from moving onto the Swamp of Wyrms. I'm assuming I dropped a crucial quest somewhere that enabled me to move on, but is it just something that goes away when you reach a certain level? Or is there a quest chain that gets you over there? Thanks everyone.
In one of the cities before that there is someone who asks you to do a quest in the swamp of wyrms and he teleports you there personally. Cant remember exactly where but hes there, heh. ------- Unrelated to the above which is in a city, be sure to explore quite a bit there are some quests well off the beaten path.
Argh, I thought so. I've literally done every quest I could find with the exception of two, and I really hope it doesn't have anything to do with that sailor quest. I spent half an hour on the off-time trying to resurrect them yesterday and got a total of one. Thanks so much for the quick response.
