Ah ha! Yes that should work. I wish I could hook up my MacBook at work to the hard line Internet, then I could use it as a hot spot and play at work!
Someone answered the what part here: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=1719840&postcount=1885 No idea about the where part.
Quick question. Does vigor on guardian warrior also buff up your courage ability? and I'm curious on what the problem for that 15 second cooldown is? Can't you read the ability before you buy it?
Nope. That's one of the problems with the game atm. You have no idea what each skill specifically does.
Are you sure? I could go to the last ability in my tree and tell you what it does.... I'm not sure what you're talking about. Btw, was that nope for my Vigor question??
I think you should have to buy your profession book. You can only have 1, and you can sell it then switch it to another one anytime you'd like. I personally sold my book on an accident and I'm not planning on going back.
Do you know the cast time/mana cost/cool down? iirc it only tells you the damage/duration increases. That's how ice mages got screwed by leveling shattered earth. (the cd increased by 10 from 5 to 15)
Oh that's what yall are talking about. I looked at an ability and it has like 4 pictures with numbers next to them, but I have no idea what any of them mean. Could someone help me out here?
The first one it mana (or whatever your class uses) cost, the one that looks like a part of a ruler is range, the stopwatch is cast time, and the circular arrow is cooldown.
The problem is that you can see the detailed description of a skill (the new mana cost, range, cast time, cooldown, damage inflicted, etc.) only after you've learned the skill but you cannot unlearn or roll back the new skill if it has changed in a bad way i.e. increased cooldown, lower damage/mana ratio, etc. In other words, there is no way to preview a new skill to see if it's worth learning or not. The only thing we can do now is listen to other players' gripes so we know when not to upgrade a skill or ability. Otherwise, you'd have to create a new character and not make the same mistake again but that's a pretty painful way to go, especially if you've already invested a lot of time in building your current character.
Did anyone else experience a bug in the quest "Tommy" where you have to escort Tommy out of the forest? I escorted him out and I went back to his mother and it says that I did not escort him. Anyone else get this?
Happened to me, haven't bothered trying to go back and see if it lets me escort him a second time since I lack the patience to risk it failing a second time.
Well it's not really a problem most (probably all) abilities are definitely worth 1 talent point if you manage to unlock them. But hopefully there'd be a wiki for this information. Finally I should mention it only costs 10 gold to respec. Don't start a new character that's just dumb. Gold will come by easier later on.
Hey guys - Blake, thanks for allowing me into the guild, when our paths crossed in O&C. I'm enjoying the game. It's pretty good, though people don't really group up it seems... If anyone is ever interested: character name: Iconoclast, level 15 Monk. I've gone divine class, therefore, I can Rez and heal, working toward my group heal but that seems a bit away. I so far enjoy coming across winded players and healing them, kind of like a fairy godfather, Lol!
Thank you. I always thought the cost was the cooldown... so that post helped me out a lot. And yea... I see what you mean now. It tells you the ability but it doesn't tell you the cooldown, casting time, cost, or range.
You're misunderstanding the issue. The problem isn't with spending skill points to learn new skills, it's with using skill books to rank up your skills. Ranking them up increases their power but also increases cost, cooldown and cast time. And a respec will not reset your ranks. So if you rank up a skill and find you don't like the result, then there's no way to undo that.
