They said by the end of the week, so I'm guessing it's still in their hands. Hard not to be anxious, though.
They are probably lost in the Rift. I did notice, the font is a little sharper than normal. Has kind of a Baroque/Square Enix sharpness going on.... Man, I am running out of things to discuss until the game comes out... fonts.. sheesh
Not yet - will likely be submitting Friday. Just finishing up all the extras like controller support and various optimizations - its been quite a challenge to get it running ~30 fps on older devices (iphone 4, ipod touch 4, etc), but I think we've finally managed it! Should be running a nice 60 fps on newer devices.
Great news! How's the battery drain on new devices right now? Do we have the option fmto turn off detailed shadows, 60fps, etc.? And I like the font a lot, it's rather fitting.
We don't really test battery consumption bc there isn't much we can do to optimize it (since thats all hardware based)... basically the more intensive a game, the more battery it will use (and generally speaking, CPU stuff uses the CPU, and GPU stuff uses the GPU, so there isn't much wiggle room there either). That being said, we will have low/high graphics options, as well as a shadow option which will definitely decrease the work load. For Phantom Rift in particular, the multiple dynamic lights and high vertex count is what uses the majority of device power.
Not that it matters because of the quality of their games but I think they are flirting between 1.99-3.99. hahaha not that it's too much help. I want to say somewhere in the thread a few thousand pages ago it was asked and answered with something like that.
Off the top of my head, can't recall an FM game priced above $1.99. That's one of the many reasons that FM rocks.... Insane quality at miniscule price point.
Foursaken Media is typically Jamie from my knowledge... you can do some searching the forums and found out info. I actually found one of the first postings one day, when they were trying to submit some game called NY Zombies or something Its cool to see four bros getting to do this kind of work together. It's like a family having five kids who all play basketball positions Maybe my three daughters will all be musicians or Three Stooges or something. Phantom Rift just around the corner!!!!
Yep, most of the community interaction and PR is just me (Jamie). Foursaken_Miles, Foursaken_Connor, and Foursaken_Tom all exist, but they usually only pop in on the release threads when they need extra info to track down bugs, etc. And yeah, its definitely cool getting to do this... we took a chance to go full time after the original N.Y.Zombies and Bug Heroes (way back in 2009!) and so far its been an amazing journey Can't believe we actually started deving our first game like 5-6 years ago!
Well, now that that's settled... Thanks for all the great art and music So, when did you guys create your time manipulation device? Around the same time NYZ2 released, right?
So, I've never played megaman battle network. Can someone tell me a bit about it to entertain me while I wait for this masterpiece?
